So to round up todays links and possibilities before we close up this Sunday ... Incomings: CM/AM and a Striker seems the goal? Rumours of another defender seems to have ceased? Midfielders: Mainoo, Frattesi, Camavinga, López Strikers: JSL, Wissa.. (Jackson, Watkins more unlikely?) Outgoings: possibly Isask or Osula, Willock or Miley but the former hasnt been linked away since fulham links early in the summer. So wonder if we ship Lascelles out too. Bit late in the window though

Everything depends on us getting another striker. If we do we move on to: Will anyone offer us what we want for Isak. If yes Osula likely stays. If no, Osula likely goes on loan.

More than ok with this. We actually have some depth. Schar and Burn will fatigue as time goes on but they are solid and reliable (usually) and Tino/Tripps/Krafth are good for now. Also gives us time to really build back fitness and not take risks with the likes of Botman and Hall, while also letting Thiaw bed in.

Priority will be on the second striker then see where things stand with outgoings. Do still think we need a better goal scoring and creative threat from the central midfield. Woltemade scores predominantly in the box compared to Isak who might ping one in from distance. Would be nice to have someone central that could do that. Barnes, Schar and Smurphy like a Crack but we need more imo.

20-25m is likely going rate for Willock. Two years younger than Longstaff. Barnes scored some blinders for us last year. I just dont think he really fits what Howe wants. Seems like such a weird signing, just trying to be opportunistic maybe. Do think we could get close to 40m for him too. Market is crazy and he can score goals.

Dont think either will have a problem there. Just depends how much we want to recoup. Thats a separate issue.

Id expect both Barnes and willock to be off, this window or the next two.

Have the Mainoo links been rubished yet? I know they weren't strong to begin with but while they haven't been rubbished its possible lol. Think he would be a cracking addition and be back to his best under Eddie. Still think we need a bit of creative genius through the middle though but maybe that doesnt necessarily fit with how Eddie wants to set up. Think one of Barnes or Willock might leave yet.
