Thought it was reported that he was supposed to have a 7m buyout clause?
  3. Agent fees worries the shit out of me. Reason Douglas didnt join last year. Lets hope they are reasonable.
  4. Typical from the cretin. I wish someone in the game had the balls to call him on his hyperbole and tell him to go fuck himself.

  7. Think Inochi knows the score.. I would also expect like Tavernier we are looking for a higher level for the lad too, so it will put him in the shop window.
  8. Pretty simple... He thinks the South is grand brothers (said like hulk hogan), Gomis had an atrocious and difficult period this month, Say goodbye to Newcastle.

  10. Yup, Pardew's an average manager but he's been hung out to dry by those inepts above him. If you pull down your pants and lube up every night then you should expect to get bum f***ed. The staggering incompetence of Kinnear in particular AND Pardew keeps on amazing me, and keeps on plummeting to more ludicrous extremes. I find it staggering that Ashley hasn't stepped in and told Kinnear "Sorry, its obvious now the supporters were right -you really COULDN'T run a p*ss up in a brewery. My mistake, heres a couple of grand. Now - GO AWAY" Well that would involve Ashely admitting he was wrong...
  11. Not enough tacklers. We would never see Pardew using that line up. Would be exciting but leave us vulnerable at the back.
  12. I actually thought his workrate and alround play was good last season when he had to play wide or having to come deeper due to our ineptitude. He is at his most lethal when given space rather than being a target man, thought gomis would be that guy to open things up for him. I think they can be interchangeable and can compliment each other.
  13. I'd prefer to have Ben Arfa higher up the pitch tbh, and I think a forward three of him, Cissé and Remy would be the best we could play. Sissoko Anita Cabaye in midfield. Gomis would still get plenty of games when we've got injuries or want to change the game and go 4-4-2, so I still very much like to sign him. Also, isn't he much more suited to playing a central role? More likely to be Sissoko Cabaye Ben Arfa Cisse Remy Gomis Either way we would get butt raped every time the opposition attacks. Sexy though.

It will happen....I can feel it. http://img.pandawhale.com/39743-Waynes-world-she-will-be-mine-kUyI.gif
  15. Footballers generally have an overinflated opinion of themselves so I'm sure both would back themselves to nail down a starting place week in week out. Provided Remy doesnt mind playing wide left there is no reason we cant use them all.
  16. Cant wait to see it when I am finally back at Christmas. What a great example SBR was for everyone in the game. Still sorely missed.. gone but not forgotten. Farewell but not goodbye.. think I might read it again.
  17. I know, at least we have Micheal Owen now...... http://i56.tinypic.com/28lwaie.gif The Arseholes always land on their feet as pundits. It makes good television because they are good antagonists.
  18. It is what the club would like to call "being realistic" in its current place in the footballing world. Problem is we are so bloody conservative on this side yet the board is willing to take the biggest gambles possible in appointing Kinnear and keeping Pardew. Frustrating doesn't even cover it. Would love him to once take a gamble like that on the playing side and splurge. Problem is our hardball tactics usually pay off and we were let off the hook last season by other clubs being somehow worse than us. Should have been a warning.. instead Ashley obviously has a taste of the thrill that comes playing with the live explosive that is our club, that fact it might go off at any moment just drives him more.
  19. Article based on nothing most likely! We wait in hope. Be bloody delighted if we get Remy and Gomis though. Great compliment to what we have.
  20. Pardew feeling the full wrath of his failings last year.. he is obviously deemed on the same level in fans in terms of respect. "Well we tried hard to get Bent for you Alan.. we know he was your number one target, but its maybe just not meant to be" 2m ffs. That said, I like our style. 65k a week is pretty stupid though.

So did we actually let QPR know about our offer yet? Or are we waiting it out until QPR contact us about the rumors. And yeah.. poor Gouf. He is as I have maintained just a good squad player for us though.
  22. Not surprised we didnt want to pay 8m for him but would have been a solid signing for us. Why he would want to come here to be 3/4 choice though I don't know.
  23. Heh? Just getting my knickers in a twist at the worst case scenario of us giving him away and then him realizing his potential. It is about as likely as Alan Pardew changing to a positive attacking football philosophy.
  24. Excellent move for him like. Will have a blinder, they will get him for nothing and sell him for 15m the season after. Hope we see how it goes and have an option to bring him back at the end. Be surprised if it wasn't an agreed nominal fee or release at the end though. That said why not just release him now if so.
