Ironically he actually looked like the player he could have been when Kinnear was here before. Actually fired a rocket up his ass and Shola was all over the pitch, looked mean and the constant goofy grin was not in sight. Been pedestrian ever since and even more infuriating to make up for it ever since.

Bent has the pace and PL experience to do it, though. I don't mind Bent. I think Gomis can offer us more though in terms of fitting into the team and playing with Cisse if we go 4-4-2, however it is a gamble and we would have the obligatory Pardew bedding in period where he refuses to play him even when he looks better than the players he starts.

Same place Bent would, fighting for a starting spot with Cisse.

Tbf we need another Keeper. Makes sense if we get him.

More than likely Lyon pushing Cardiff to buy like they are with Gomis to us.

Not versatile position wise but can offer more to the team than Bent in playing style and playing alongside a strike partner.

Shame Pardew has a boner for Bent. Gomis and Remy makes the most sense with our current squad and given their versatility and styles.
