Most happy I have felt about this club in years.. Freedom might not last long and things might get worse but the taste is exquisite.. Ok no fading around Pardew and Palace get it signed and done.. Let some festive Picard be your inspiration: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KeaehxEdpgo

Is this really not a wind up? Is he really going? Is this really happening? If it has to be an internal appointment I hope it's beardo. Can't stand cunt face carver and woodman.

Don't think next to anything would change with colo in charge either. Seems to love Pardew.
-
Accidentally hit page one and saw the thread change of Pardew backed.. Maybe a horrible precursor of what we will all feel if this doesn't materialize.
-
I don't know... You can never tell. Sometimes they just won't bother commenting at all on things.. There is no rhyme or reason. Would have thought we and pardew must be open to it or some jounro would have more than.. No approach made to club as the only update.
-
If this could happen.. And breaks down over compo I might end it all.

Are we really going to wait until tmrws press conference to deny this? Can see this costing us the Burnley game. fans will be rightly fuming and down if is gets denied after yet more insulting silence from the club. The hope is high though, coupled with the silence a few journos seemed to think this has more than legs..no update since it was broken though.

Curbishley  the grim reality. That said, still better than Pardew and more likeable.

Who's seen him at training? I'm sure David Craig or whoever is up at the training ground lurking - they would have spotted Pardew arriving and reported so. No reports..? It's all a bit quiet from that side (SSN etc.) anyway, too quiet. That's what I mean. Someone should surely be reporting one way or the other if he is at the training ground. Once that hope has been crushed and he is maybe we can hang on to the "well maybe he is just saying his goodbyes" hope. It's day off? Ta. Makes sense..and also heightens the chance Palace could be talking to us/him.

Must surely be in training by now? So no news is bad news surely. If it had legs he wouldn't be at training.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

Pardewed like Gutierrez and almost sissoko and turned into the team scapegoat. -
De Boer

Ashley isn't fully responsible for Rangers though. Can't see that being a problem. Can't help wondering why Pardew would jump ship now, especially to a less securepositron at Palace, unless he knows something we haven't yet been told about the future of the club... He was linked last time and when Pulis took over too, right? Thought there were rumours he did indeed fancy it but only as a winding down Job after he had achieved at a big club. Could see that's not panning out and might fancy the change now incase it doesn't happen further down the line. Not least he has the chance to keep them in the premiership now and might fancy the squad they have and possible funds they would give him. If Palace go down they aren't guaranteed an instant return.. Could be a case of if its going to happen now is the time.

Sherwood and Sir Les would surely appeal as a cheap option that would appease the masses give Leslie's links to the club.

Shocked we actually paid money for him. Still not sure what he offers. He does have pace.. And I think power but he looks clueless, with no idea what he should be doing or where he should be playing. In fairness to him he has only ever worked best as a second striker alongside a target man. We have always used him as the target man and he is clearly woefully short of confidence. Looks rubbish either way unfortunately.
-
Would be wildly gutted if we missed another chance to get someone decent and just end up with a very mediocre Pulis, albeit a wildly better option than Pardew. Don't think the atmosphere will be anything other than apathetic like it has been, regardless. He hasn't done anything tbf. A few quotes about how he is flattered but committed to Newcastle and its forgotten.
-
Still 110% convinced at least Pardew is trolling, if not Ashley too. Sure Pardew is just angling for a better contract and more to make people realize what we would miss if he were to leave. ironic we are doing exactly that and there are so many fans rejoicing at the potential news.

Benitez would be freakin amazing. While De Boer would be also off the charts, Benitez is fully proven here. Can't see us paying compo or him wanting to leave Napoli though That said would be chuffed next to anyone replacing Pardew.

Ally Mcoist available I think?

I can't stand Pulis' brand of football. wasn't awful last season at Palace tbh. Pardews "brand" of football wasn't that bad at reading or Charlton, even west ham. He said he liked free flowing attacking football, he lied and lied again and again. What's your point? A managers perceived brand of football is not always what you will get.
-
Ok, going to refresh and live this fantasy one more time before I go to sleep and wake up to the firm denials and our miserable lives with Pardew continues indefinitely.

Mike Ashley moves to quash any talk of Pardew leaving by giving him an 8 year lucrative contract extension.

Joey Barton player manager.
