Bent looks to be creeping into almost certain territory.. For the love of god please add a pacey striker that can play on the wings. I won't be upset if we sign Bent for under 5m and someone like Remy. Shola looks like he might finally be on the way out.. Bent would be a huge upgrade, can't see him wanting to switch benches though, surely will have better 1st team opportunities elsewhere.

I am sure Jonas played a big part in Colo staying. For that we should at least be thankful. It is truly shocking to see how far he has fallen in three seasons. While he has himself to blame for his performances, yet another player that has been further ruined by Padews clueless idea of how to get the best out of his players and where to play them.

Hope we replace him with someone not already at the club!

Everton fans thought the same with moyes. I can see where Ashley and Derek are coming from with consistency.. Blatantly they all fall together now.. We will probably just bumble around mid table and alienate more fans/players. Should have been out at Christmas, but maybe he deserved one chance to turn it around. Four new players later and he makes us look worse and we nearly get relegated. He should have gone without doubt. This is the biggest one in his ownership big we know how Ashley loves a gamble.

nah, can't be bothered to cancel season tickets renewals Honestly though it has been a remit imo. Just to lower fans expectations the problem is they have punched us down so many times, repeatedly its pushed fans too far the other way. I think there is a large section of supporters that will always follow the club but have now got to a point where they will go along with whatever is happening with a "well we can't change anything" mentality. Depressing and further taking away from our identity which made us everyone's second favorite team in the 90's and even under Sir Bobby.

Good call. Not a replacement for Cabs. De Jong is a forward who plays in the hole. No.. But a replacement for Nolan finally.. think he would work well with what we have.. Like you say we would still be lacking someone capable of creating and play long balls from deep, but maybe Anita can grow into that in every sense. Looks like he has popped to Monaco and done the medical before a fee has even been set. Weird. - their advantage Cabaye is obviously crawling over broken glass to get anywhere but someone managed by Pardew - our advantage Mike is tight, lots of clubs are after him. The fee will have to be reasonably big otherwise we would start a bidding war.

Well that's a hugely dissapointing start to the summer... Oh no wait, no one actually cares because are summer was already ruined by Pardew remaining in charge. Im certainly with people that it will be 15m max. Somewhere between 8-12m I reckon. Hugely dissapointing as he won't be replaced much like Nolan and Ba. Let hope bigi, campbell, ameobi and vuckic step up.

After saying Spain is the best league in the world and suits him best, think that's where he will go.

The one player most people could care less about selling... Still think and hope he will turn it around and become the beast once again. All dependent on Pardew growing a brain and using him as he should be used. We shall see. To be fair to Tiote he has been almost an unofficial vice captain, always seems to be first in the press to talk up the club and stick up for it or players in hard times. If he actually played with the level head that he uses for his PR exercises we might see him back to his best.
