We often don't know how to break teams down if plan A doesn't work. Despite scoring so many last year our finishing was horrifically inconsistent. This year we aren't creating as much on top of that. Lots of balance issues and lack of quality in wide areas. Bad time for "Anthony" to hit a poor run of form/confidence. Barnes still remains an opportunist signing and luxury player when we should have signed a RW.

Still would have put Tonali in for Bruno. He needs a rest and reset. Tonali has been OK so far.

What's going on in youth teams. I thought we signed a ton of decent players.

Man. This is as painful as Monday so far. Great start at least.

We will be peddling Wilson, tripps and Almiron. Isak is the one people will be bidding for though. Don't think anyone will front up the money we will want though. RW is an absolute must for January. CB if we can.

He has been predominantly poor since re-signing. Not sure he is in the best place position wise. I'm sure he will pull it around soon, we know he is quality. I'd consider benching him though for a game to recharge/motivate.

How many times can we say this though? I mean I still think it's true hahaha. Poor finishing has costs us for nearly two years. Definitely the most frustrating game. First half we were the better team and should have been winning. Second half we had more chances but gave up a little. I'm going to have nightmares about the amount of time we turned and passed back to the defence. Just one of those days but another missed chance to get closer to where we want to be, instead looking like a team closer to missing out on Europe again.

I love the petty tribalism and loyalty of football. Never had an issue with Palace until Jordan started spouting shite unprovoked and now Parrish. Likewise Villa before the relegation debacle. While selling Guehi would potentially be another hammer blow, they probably need to just to fill the bank with money for the new manager to spend. Glasner isn't making january at this point. They reinvested all their outgoing money in the summer.
