  1. Still recovering from his season ending injury. Haven't seen pics of him training yet.
  2. Juve or Notts County by the looks of the picture.
  3. Can see us walking away and returning late in the window if Southampton aren't approaching what we want. Clear the player wants to come and we don't desperately need him to start the season. We can move on elsewhere and hope to get a better deal late in the window. Hope it's closer than some people have been reporting and we get him in this week though.
  4. Nice comments about ASM too.. Watch your back Jamal.. Added a nice 1m on to the fee making him captain again and talking him up. Howe got the smarts.
  5. The systems is so broken and has been for years but its hilarious its the majority of clubs that broke it and benefitted the most that have their arms constantly up in the air whining about how they are threatened. Does this then open up the door the other way for the PL to investigate things like Manure trying to charge 3 times the regular fee or what West Ham paid for Lingard to come to us on loan because we are a "rival" or other clubs inflating fees for rivals or because "we can pay more" or charging more to fit their own FFP? Should there be one set price for everyone?. When does it end. So many clubs have working partnerships and good relations. How much scrutiny is needed in the game? There isn't enough time lol
  6. Fair enough if we were selling them Fraser or Hendrick for 20m. Just pathetic from the clubs complaining. Not a huge surprise unfortunately. Looks like we took less than market value for ASM.

    Joelinton

I want cameras on when Big Joe walks into the room and Tonali and Bruno are cosying up.
  8. Ah shit I thought we had to count the letter and decode from there. Well that's cost me a shed load but at least the team get to see their families tonight.
  9. I think they will absolutely part with him but not for a fee we will come close to wanting to pay.
  10. Quite feasible. It's going to be a long season but I'm going to enjoy every minute of it! Us, Spurs and Manure are certainly going to be the most threatened to keep this year's standing. A much strengthen Liverpool without major European distractions, more so a hugely talents Chelsea squad, that surely Poch can get something out of, will be pushing along with Villa and Brighton again. Arsenal are stronger and Man City are still incredible. Dark horses beyond Brighton and Villa are West Ham. That's probably doing the likes of Brentford and Fulham a disservice too. Good thing Eddie and the boys like a challenge.
  11. Desperately want Hall now. Seems like a great fit for our project. You could also probably post the above about almost everyone linked this summer, and the next ten linked, such is our wealth of transfer rumour riches this summer. Hall's versatility is a bonus though and if they are taking Ollie Harrison from our youth system I want revenge.
  12. Todibo, Doku and Hall would be really exciting forward thinking moves. I'd be delighted to wrap up the window with those three. Not convinced the new links will amount to anything other than spurious but we do have longer standing reports interest in the first two at least. Todibo and Doku go back to Feb and June 2022 at least.
  13. He must have hit the post 8 times. Narrow margins. Is Murphy on relatively cheap wages too? As much as we have seen the ruthless Howe on show with ASM, there is definitely a hint of wanting to give players their go in the CL after last season and not breaking the harmony of the squad. Murphy works hard, is a toon fan, is well liked and counts as a HG. Who knows with this team and Howes coaching though. Up until last year I would have said RW was Miggy's worst position with LW and CAM above RW. I really wanted him played like he was at Atlanta behind the striker. Who knows who might emerge somewhere different next year or who will level up again. Murphy on late season form is somewhat similar to Willock (although more a poundland version) if he could consistently hit the target and score with the chances he creates he would be a monster player and huge asset. I still hope we get a LB, CB and RW/AM. However, Depth wise in the squad, especially if we pick up a few injuries to starters, I would be more concerned with CB and possibly Striker than anywhere else. If Schar and Botman went down, I don't want to be left with Lascelles and Burn. Likewise while they can fill in, I don't want Gordon or Joelinton really filling in up front. It's probably the lesser of two evils with CB being the biggest need. However, out of all the signings we could make on the park, a top quality LB would be the most transformational. I think its pivotal for Barnes too. We have depth at LB in Burn, Targett, Trippier, Dummett and Manquillo (Currently) but its not top level. RW would be a bonus, a younger versatile striker (PL ready) would be an even bigger bonus. Wonder if there actually was genuine interest in Daniel Jebbison? Anyways if we can grab a quality LB and CB with whats left of the window that would be fantastic. Anything on top would be a huge bonus.
  14. Reserve squad hopefully.
  15. I haven't seen enough of Andersen to know. Definitely the least sexy CB linked so far. Probably have to pay 20m more for Guehi. Disasi links don't seem to want to go away. Inacio at Sporting CP might still be on the radar too.
  16. We need to redact the past couple of pages, wait, the thread. Just in case anyone from Bournemouth read it. We need this to go through.
  17. Looks like Southampton converted him from a predominantly RM to full time RB. Only played twice in midfield for Southampton.
  18. Didn't realise he has almost played as many games at RM (35) as he has RB (43) according to https://www.transfermarkt.us/tino-livramento/leistungsdaten/spieler/503981 That's RW sorted. Back to a CB and LB it is.
  19. Wow. 30m seems very steep but I guess it could prove a bargain if he is past injury issues and continues to develop. This surely kills either a LB or CB coming in this window. We could limp through with either until January most likely.
  20. More tellingly all of one club in Saudi is lining up for Maxi. Far more interest in Barnes.
