Valid point Stifler, just not aware of any major club who has a fan vote. So if every fan vote I've seen has been for lower clubs, and they had multiple shit designs to chose from. I'm just using the evidence I have to say I'd be worried about it - thats all. Now if they had multiple class options, then fair game that's fantastic. But each of our 3 kits from Puma we've all pretty much hated initially (which is normal too). DXM - that's my thinking as well man! -
Thanks Spurs! Part of Carr's plan all along then.

You outline the problem with the first part of your post. Will there be a basic no frills option? Hopefully! They'd have 1 basic, 1 real modern, and 1 in between? - Just doesn't seem right for a club as big as ours to have a vote on a home kit. I'm hoping its the away kit. More fun with that one. Just do our home kit basic, simple and get their top designers to do it. I feel like we are some League 1 or 2 side if we had a vote for our home kit. Little charvs would ruin the thing! -

I'm worried the fan vote will be 3 absolute rank kits for us to chose from. But then again, I'd imagine if they allowed fans to vote for a home kit - the most basic and simple "classic" would win from the majority of fans? -
We'll have width with Santon and Debuchy bombing up and down. Solidity with Colo and Mapou. Anita/Tiote holding the middle of the field. Sissoko and Cabaye up and down the pitch creating and getting stuck in. HBA probably in a free-role. Bony the battering ram and Cisse the poacher. Looks fucking brilliant to me
-
Not only is he scouting the talent, but he's also building a relationship - brilliant that. Its what allows us to force deals through and get guys on the cheap before contracts expire at times. The player's rep/family/friends may divulge bits and pieces that help us craft deal/terms that would land us the player. Seriously, wish we had Carr for years and years prior.
-
Keegan to Sir Bobby? Oh my. That would have been fucking fantastic. Weren't we courting Sir Alex too? (HTT seemed to have mentioned that one time)

Its feels fkn great to be excited about football again, it was getting to the point of where I was thinking about not renewing my season ticket. Nah man I agree, between your Greggs influenced (I'm convinced you work for them in some viral marketing type role) photoshop masterstrokes to you falling for fake twitter accounts, and lets not forget the Marley pics your enthusiasm is what I love about this board. Was losing my general optimism as well.

He also looks like he literally is taking the piss out of every goal he scored in that African Hulk video
-
Xisco should have been playing over that utter waste named Ranger.
-
Skirge man, breathe just breathe. FFS you have me in stitches.

Every interview I read or quote I read from one of our new French players...in my head, It reads like Demba Ba's voice in English.

Malandro man, nobody here has forgotten our league position and the crap we have served up so far this season. Everyone here who is happy about the signings has every right to feel that way. Its the lift thats part and parcel of transfer windows for nearly every club but ours as of late. We've not seen a splash like this in some time, and these are real top young players signed for pennies in terms of their actual value. We also know Mike Ashley has a real knack of pulling the rug from under us, but there's no reason you should be having a go at those of us who are very happy with this. Our supporters NEEDED these incomings just as much as the team itself did. The lift we'll have could propel us man. Again, there is no problem being very happy and excited about 5 new signings for our club. 4 in 1 week. Its madness what has happened this week!
-
Yep. It will also create some fucking atmosphere at SJP when Mr. Ba returns with Chelsea.
-
Yohan man, future captain of this club - and I hope for a very very long time (a successful time too)
-
Lets get Sakho
-
I bet you're easily baffled. Top post mate.
-
He's one slick looking bastard.
-
We've clearly done our homework. Spurs bid up for this lad and it was rejected. A price tag was put on his signature and nobody wanted to cough up for it. We did our homework on how to get him - I'd love to know how, but quite frankly I'm not going to question it. We signed a player who could be fantastic for us to an excellent long-term contract.
-
Baffles me that people automatically assume we are late to the party on every signing. Can't get your mind around the fact that we have done really good, hard work to get this deal done?
