Could have had a hat-trick today, he's an abs master in the box and if we get the ball to him in the box, you'd bet he'd score. Brilliant finish and Demba Ba's "I think Papiss dreams of goals in his sleep" resonates in my head every time hes scored or close to it.
-
Don't blame him? He's upset that 2 players who have been much better than him replaced him in the team? Give me a break, does he think he's Iniesta or something? Poor attitude and someone who has repeatedly done this, hell play great for some time and really look like hes turned the corner, then hell be on the bench next game, back on the pitch again and just hit the mental reset button and look poor. Hate that attitude tbh, I get the desire to be starting, but you're a professional footballer, if you get dropped, get on with it and work at it. Giving up man? ffs

IMO if Tiote doesn't play (in any match) Mehdi needs to take that role over. Nobody else in the squad can play that role, and there are times when Guthrie looks great, but as soon as he gets dropped for Tiote or Cabaye its like his mind hits a reset button and he's back to relatively poor level of play But maybe too early for that this season?

Criminal if he doesn't start tomorrow. I agree with everything you are saying.

A lot of those stats are very interesting, but you also need to put into context some of the stats - for example Perch and Simpson's aerial stats may be higher based on their position and frequency of aerial balls to the wings. You cant compare the statistics of a LB to a CB as they deal with different threats, its not apples to apple imo. My example being sure, Simpson has a high number of headed clearances, but perhaps that number is inflated due to X amount of overhit crosses that beat the first and 2nd man. Things like that... The stats just further prove Steven Taylor's form this season, if anything to me.

He's a backup player at best, and not even a good one at that. Nice lad, great effort and fights for the cause but my god I never realized how much I'd miss Stevie Taylor.

Van Persie is a f***ing t*t

This is doing my heart in, oy.
-
He must just sit on the ground and not train or something man,
-
I bet he'll put on a little muscle as hes very skinny. Just hope he's not workout with the body builder known as Shola. But I remember C Ronaldo coming to the PL and looking very soft, but over time he bulked up but was able to use the strength to his advantage as it did not take away from his game or pace.

1 thing about AP, the cocky fucker has passion and on derby day, I was loving it. He gets up for it and I loved seeing that about him, Carver and the rest of our staff.
-
Well Demba, you love the club and the fans - f***ing get back to scoring s*** loads of goals and drive us to Europe - you are one of the handful that got us this far, now lets finish the job! 3 at Arsenal please.

I actually liked reading the part of how the board tried to get paying in installments done away with and like how we currently operate on the idea we pay and receive payments in full. Im only saying this from someone who is in real estate finance and I abs. appreciate the financial prudence displayed by our club when you do a hindsight on what could have happened or hell, even just looking at Rangers and other teams who go under. From a football fan perspective, I don't know what deals have fallen through b/c of this (in the purchase side) so as long as It wasn't just someone totally brilliant who has been top form all season for whatever club they are at now, I'm not bothered by it. Personally, I'm weary of Mike and Dekka, but I did find these reads interesting.

I'm cracking up right now at my desk at the office...hilarious

He's the fucking man in my books. He scored against the Scum again and saved us from a defeat. Had he taken the penalty I have no doubt he would have scored as Big Shols has a fucking brillant hit for his penalties into the bottom corner every time. Credit to him for coming on and having the composure to save us. He's a legend, forever.
-
I hope im not the only one, but for to be honest - his acceleration has FINALLY looked like he was last year - he was skipping and dancing around their challenges with ease, he was nothing short of sensational and he better be starting for the rest of the season because he has the ability to shred apart any LB in the league when he is on his game.
-
Shola should have taken that penalty every single time. Feel for Ba who had a tough match. Ben Arfa has to start, he scared the piss out of them when he was on.
-
Williamson's flick to Shola saved the day. God bless Shola for putting that in. Fucking hell.

Nerves have kicked in, been up since 4 am here in the states. Ready for this one now...coffee and sitting in front of the tube

For alll of you on this board who are able to attend tomorrow, Its brilliant to know you all will be singing, cheering and willing our lads on tomorrow showing why we have the best supporters in the world. - bring on Sunday.
-
His quotes are music to my ears and exactly what i want my players thinking when they get out there. This is the type of match Tiote dreams of when you add all the parts together. Roll on tomorrow, can not wait.
-
this fella man. You can feel him and Tiote and the rest of the lads are going to be ready on Sunday and rise to the occasion.
