I’m a bit confused by both articles. In Edwards’ piece it says no approach made, sources say he’s happy in the job and annoyed with the noise. But also he hasn’t confirmed he isn’t interested or committed to NUFC. In the Orenstein piece it says no approach, but expected to develop rapidly. I wouldn’t be worried if he goes, our job is pretty damn incredible from a long term view point and based on the names that we were linked with before, whilst Eddie was in the job, I imagine we will go for a top candidate. I wouldn’t begrudge Ashworth for going there but also feel he hasn’t even given this job a proper go yet. Feel like he’s barely started.

Hes been utter rubbish since coming back from latest injury. Been decent before the layoff earlier in the season but overall super disappointing campaign for him imho.

A season of tremendous learning experiences for Howe, his staff, and the club. At this point he’s just got to do the best he can with the injured squad to maximize the league position and attack the FA cup. Come end of season, I imagine a massive deep dive review will occur and hopefully, reflection and lessons learned will lead to change and growth in how we approach next season and the fixture congestion. I’ll back the brilliant coach we have 100%, even if hindsight and personal opinion differ from what he’s doing.

Ah, you. Sometimes, man.... Yes, Bruno predominately played CM but Tonali was coming central at times and breaking up play, hell even doing that on the left side. He was allowing Bruno to go up a bit further (and Tonali was even central and drifting left side to combine with Joelinton and Barnes too) playing like bruno's free role.

It happened at home v Villa dude; and then it really didn't happen again. But it was said over and over and over that eventually that was supposed to happen with them when they got in-sync.
