Manchester United vs. Newcastle United: 30/12/24 @ 20:00 (Live on Sky Sports)

Yea okay. your entire club is a sackable for lighting bank notes in flames every time you’ve stroked a check in the last 12 months. I’d take our post takeover years and ride as a NUFC fan over stumbling your way into 2 cup finals that 90% of your fanbase doesn’t even care about. When a win still = groan and when a goal still = meh. -
Wouldn’t be surprised, he looked huge

Money has never been the question brother, it’s the PSR distance from the edge into having to sell someone and our commercial income and player sale income needs to improve so we can spend the money. It’s been said before that the Guehi deal = selling someone big in the summer.
-
Setting the stasticial analysis aside, if this is the standard Tonali brings us going forward at a minimum, and he has age on his side to improve, I shudder to think how fucking good he could be. I do not care about the quick passing, I love it. I want more of it. He’s now commanding the ball and integral to how we play and long may it continue.

I think Longstaff is the right move in Jan or Summer. I personally do not want to him to go, as I agree with @ponsaelius about retaining that local identity, and in addition to that, I think having hat local core is also good for the squad as well (our local lads like Long and Burn are actually leaders in the dressing room). I see Miley slotting into Longstaff’s role. I think you’d move Willock on if the offer was too good to turn down, but you keep him until you sign a quality attacking mid who offers his dribbling / ball carrying ability. Again, I’d prefer to keep Willock long term too but we do need to trade to use the money we have.

Based on his IG, looked like he was spending some quality time with his kids and then followed that up put in a brilliant performance at RB. Honestly wasn’t surprised. Looked more himself in all aspects.

I am really said to see Verbruggen was able to go the distance here and Flekken was hauled off for being a soft cunt.
-
“There was some distance” commentary said over here. TF
-
Pedro is a punchable cunt tbh
-
Nice attempt to snap an ankle
-
So Let’s just be clear - Schar was sent off for that “head butt” Joelinton got a yellow for that “hit” on Roger’s.
-
He should be sent off for that.
-
Ughhhh that Pedro elbow would have broken the guys face.
-
I don’t know about youze guys but it’s an honor to watch this Dutch goalkeeping battle.
-
could play right wing, lcm/10. Could be main backup striker, and also play left wing too.
-
Id put big money on Cunha in the summer. He can play across the front 3 and attacking mid. He’d transform us.
-
If he’s effective, that’s all that matters.
-
was logging in to mention this, it was that hesitation and burst of acceleration to create the space and roll it thru. Lush! regarding Bruno / Tonali. The beauty now is our 6 really does hold now in Tonali more often than not and he’s about to recycle and switch or defend and cut out a counter. When Bruno played that role, our 8 would be in the box. Bruno would be near the box and we’d love the ball and it’s counter time.
-
He’s constantly scanning the pitch when he’s back while the others attack too. Lovely awareness.
-
I’d be surprised if any successful human being didn’t just stumble upon something after tinkering or not tinkering over and over. The argument in itself is fine, and it’s been done to death here. Simple way to put this, Eddie is fucking MINT son.
-
Bruno doing that little outside of foot touch pass to Murph for the assist was pure taste.
-
Having Sandro, Hall and Gordon next to him has allowed him to look his best too.
-
The type of “fuck off” confidence i was alluding to about last season (made the post the other day). When he plays like he feels like nobody can stop him, he’s nearly unplayable with that pace and ability.
-
Well said.
