If you placed Diego Carlos (strong, pacy, good on the ball) next to Dan Burn then yo've got 1-2 years of that partnership assuming Burn's understudy is a younger long-term answer. Or you sign Sven Botman (strong, quicker than Burn, good on the ball) and play him next to Schar and you've got a young ready-made long-term player and then you look to sign a young understudy to Schar. ^just using example of the 2 guys we were linked with most in Jan.

What a season it has been!

For me it all depends on the quality we can get for RCB or LCB - Botman as the LCB of ours for the next decade next to Schar for now sounds great but I’d be ok with a similar quality on right side next to Burn.

I wonder if deep down wilson didn’t think he was going to be here that long under MAs ownership.

He's got weird mobility in that he covers an insane amount of the pitch and he's faster than he appears. Some of his passing is really good and when he does actually properly connect with a shot he's got a fucking cannon right foot.

It's what being opportunistic is all about and, again, January showed me they will push if they need to.

I always assumed they were paying 4.2 billion for the club. The 4.2 billion was going to then go to charity. Then the additional 1 billion required to win the deal for the master planning is above and beyond to show willingness and commitment to the project.

So they are paying themselves to develop stadium/womens team/infrastucutre/signings. How the fuck is that fair?
