We've rarely seen peak Sissoko in a Newcastle kit and people think it's because he's lazy or actually just a s*** player. I'll miss him. That debut half season was incredible man. His goals, his fucking smile, his gambling and smoking , and his "very very happy" quotes will be missed. He saved Pardew way too much but will always love Cisse. Good luck to him and it was about time he went.

Tried to hit the ball around Kimmich (if that's the name of the LB) and beat him for pace and fucked that up a few times Hope he starts in the final and plays well and they win it now. If anything it'll only inflate his value some more, or, we get a happy Moussa - who may get a word from Rafa saying - look, you made the team and started from being at a club that was relegated, play even better and you'll feature even more. First thing I thought of when I heard the mackem move broke down. Wouldn't be surprised if we were in for him now. just happy the move broke down and he's not going there.

He's so s***. I don't understand what anyone could possibly see in him. Rarely seen a professional footballer look so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet. He's really not so s*** overall - going forward, I don't disagree with you, he's not really easy on the eye and I don't disagree how uncomfortable he looks with the ball at his feet. But Rafa seems to prefer defenders who defend 1st, and he really is pretty good at the defending part IMO. But, in Rafa's 10 matches at the end of last season he was fit to play in 7 of them as he was out with a hamstring injury prior to that. In those 7 matches, he was on the bench for Southampton which we of course lost - but - when he started the rest of the season we went unbeaten. As much as he was all over the shop in a few matches against wingers with pace, he's still fairly solid and a pretty good at cutting out crosses.

I always liked Haidara's attitude but he's got injury problems galore, the poor fella. Is Mbabu a left back or right back naturally? He seems to be able to play both.

Would we ever go back to adidas? And would our kits be as bespoke as they used to be or would they be more like the run of mill adidas put out for clubs not named Man Utd and formerly Chelsea?
