so, what if ramage just holds up nolan and lets pav come to the ball? it seemed that that's what pav was thinking, only to have ramage panic (?) and put his bonce to the ball, catching pav out of position. pav can't expect him to read his mind though. he ought to be yelling firm, clear and confident instructions. the whole farce cost us the game because after the OG, we not only lost all our momentum, we lost all confidence as well.

why was no one on the back post for their second?

shoulda, woulda, coulda. after the own goal the wheels came off in a match i believed we shoulda won. we woulda won that game with given and nobby.

i think that's why he's the way forward-- tayls has needed someone to get the best out of him, his partnership with ramage is comfortable because they have a common history- plus both of them would dive in front of a bullet for the toon, but in previous games it hasn't been enough. enter mr. pearson- i think he deserves credit for their admirable performance. i also think having nobby helps too. he brings the wise head of experience to balance huntington's youthful exuberance.

bump i now think nigel pearson may very well be the way forward!
