  2. i agree. but that's why i put him in--he gets SO much criticism from people, i wonder when it comes right down to it, who would ship him?
  3. should i have included duff?
  4. sorry everyone! cheers wullie! you're a prince of the realm, i swear!
  5. for me, Shola & Peter. i still want to see if there's anything of substance to a healthy Ameobi, & ramage is the lesser of the several evils.
  6. if we were to win it, how huge would the celebration be? serious question, like. would all people in newcastle be sincerely overjoyed or what? wondering if i should arrange to pop over the pond should we make it to the final.
  7. 1 order for the Prime Minister for me, please!

    Gooch

i'm puzzled, is gooch "Big Bungle"?
  10. A stricken bird flew around the stadium in a directionless manner, briefly rallied and then, in a state of obvious distress, expired on the pitch. then oba stretchered it off and the flock had to fly a bird down for the remainder of the match.
  11. get yourself a turf-coloured ghillie suit and hide in plain sight right on the pitch! remember: only the most foolish of mice would hide in the cat's ear, but only the wisest of cats would look there. :idea1:
  12. if you do it, you should video the whole thing ...hmm...wait. better wear disguises if you do that...
  13. didn't see the match, but some have said gooch did well--did he do any long throw-ins?
  14. what's the caption to that first pic? lad in the white jacket, "i've got three nipples, me! here, i'll show you..." lass with red scarf, "that's a vivid image to try and forget! i'll be months in therapy now, you wanker!"
  15. just saw the back pass on Super Saturday. commentator on the throw-in etc."teammates are supposed to help each other, but watch this from carr-- he should throw long up field but he's thrown to carr who's immediately put under pressure. he makes a hopeful back pass into his own penalty area and helgeson is on it in a flash. ...disaster from carr and even worse from butt." pardon my paraphrasing but that's pretty close to word for word. they even had a brief segment on how this mistake/s was the turning point of the match! so, stephen carr, i salute you--> :pottytrain2: and nicky, for shame, you know better than to make that decision.

    Gooch

  18. Must be their nationality (christ, apart, all other smilies are now shit) one big melting pot, us. carefully selects correct smiley...
  19. intresting but you can flip it round though Onyewu has faced McBride in hundreds of training sessions and marking his fellow country men tomorrow would not be foreign to him a dabut tomorrow would not concern me at all i agree with this. when better to start than against forwards whose tendencies you already know? the real question is does/can he understand the lingo?

  22. infant mortality rates can be a bitch in some 3rd world countries...but he should be all right in newcastle, yeah? happy birthday, glen i'll be happier when you've survived/thrived to age 3
  23. i think roeder does well in seeing the big picture & planning for the long term. but, the devil is in the details (i.e. short term) for him. he really ought to have an old pro or two to shore up the squad just to see out this season (is he trying this with pav?) so, that the youngsters can blossom without getting low on confidence. then, when an opportunity to get a target he really fancies, pounce! but if we keep, moving up the table, i'm willing to call him crazy like a fox.
