  1. Its easy to call him a cheat, but hes smart. If you come up against a team with aggressive foulers like Smith and Butt, players who get "stuck in", why not take advantage of it? It only really happens to players who are stupid enough to run around making late challenges. You won't find any argument from me about Smith's stupid challenges, but he never even went near him! Ronaldo sliced a shot and thought he'd better have a little cry about it - so they gave him a free kick for getting his feelings hurt. It's criminal that a player like him has never had a serious injury when so many others do. Give the little b****** something to cry about I say. Powerful. No, Given is ultimately to blame, the clearance was rushed but he should have done alot better... the ball got off the ground ffs...
  2. No mention of Given's shit clearance i see,...
  3. i was talking with a Manc friend y'day about Smith's tendancy to give free-kicks away near the edge of the box....
  4. Perhaps giving the new man 4 or so months to realize Smith and co. are shit would be of good... write this season off and give the new man time get his feet warm before next season....
  5. They can't defend much either.. PASS Hughes > Van Gaal But NUFC-online wants a foreigner... Hughes is foreign, the Welsh t***. He's British They can't defend much either.. PASS Hughes > Van Gaal But NUFC-online wants a foreigner... What has Hughes ever done to suggest he is even in the same class as Van Gaal? I watch his team week in week out and i'm impressed with them and their style of play... good wingers, delivering quality balls for predatory strikers... good football on a budget How many of us watch AZ regularly? Whenever I watch them they look very shaky at the back... So you say Hughes is a better manager because you don´t see as much of Van Gaal´s team..? By that logic it could be argued that Sammy Lee is a better manager than Marcello Lipi, who I´m sure you haven´t seen too much of either? Look what Van Gaal has achieved that Hughes has not ffs. Van Gaal has never been a great footballer, so he wasn´t assured to get any top jobs like Hughes will be with Man U, but to go from being a gymnastics teacher to winning the Champions League with a group of teenagers, then the Spanish Liga twice with Barcelona you have to have something in your locker, don´t you agree? I like Hughes, think he´s a better option than Redknapp, but there´s no way I´d call him world class at this point in time. Sammy Lee's team where shit and I've watched a fair bit of Lippi's Juve/inter and Italy teams. From what i've seen from AZ I have not been greatly impressed.. whenever I watch them their defence looks very fragile.. has he done any better at AZ than the former AZ boss Co Adriaanse? We love a foreigner on here.
  6. Yep, Ranieri would definitely leave Juventus for Newcastle. Maybe he can flatshare with Mancini... Never rated Ranieri to be honest, has he ever won anything? No but he's foreign was this forum loves him.

  9. The man that brought the Premiership, Yakubu and taught the fool how to time his runs. He could do that with Obafemi.
  10. Bollocks to all the negativity... Who else thinks Harry is the man to take us into the promise land of Europe? At the very least, he's much more of a "Newcastle" manager than Big Sam. He'll fill the team with pace & power. He'll sign more "attractive" players. And isn't afraid to admit he was wrong (Dave Nugent I see you). Join Me, time will vindicate us...
  11. C'MON HARRY!!! I reckon the fans will warm to him if he joins...
  12. For every good player there has been a Marco Boogers, Paulo Futre and Florin Raducioiu.... Wenger had Christophe Wreh! Redknapp's overall record is a lot more hits than misses. Jeffers is the example I use to prove that Wenger is not God. The swift mention of any combination of Viana/Boumsong/Owen/Luque/Smith makes me shut up swiftly.
  13. For every good player there has been a Marco Boogers, Paulo Futre and Florin Raducioiu.... and Amdy Faye, Ivica Mornar, Valery Mezague... I could name you half a dozen poor singings from any of the managers of the top four (exclude Grant for Jose). btw Faye seemed like a good player when he was at P'Mouth because he had a very simple role.
  14. For every good player there has been a Marco Boogers, Paulo Futre and Florin Raducioiu.... tbf.. no there's not... Harry has been successful in the transfer market consistently... Hughes > Redknapp = Martin Jol
  15. Aye, and the rest. 51k would be more accurate. lol.. not 50.. but 51k.....
  16. Consistently falling out with players?
  17. Surely we are infinetely more attractive than Blackburn...... okay maybe not
  18. He's even looking smug in that picture...he can't help it can he?
  19. I'll be happy with Hughes.. content with redknapp but no other British manager really..
  20. Honestly, Jenas is better than all our central midfielders.
