Terry is the best defender in the Premiership, but because of the club he plays for and where he's from, as well as some poor international performances, he's underrated. Rio is class but is someone I wouldnt want up against an intelligent, skillful forward. Fact is both of them aren't as good as they've been made out to be in the past (Terry) & present (Ferdinand). I disagree. For the past 3 seasons Ferdinand has been the best defender in the league, when he's been missing in the past its been to a larger detriment to their team than Vidic being missing. Vidic can be rather hot-headed and Ferdinand acts as a calming force. He's had a poor start to the season & now he's "over-rated". Fact is no defender has been as consistent as Ferdinand over the last few years. If he where fit, dare I say England would've qualified for the Euro's. Terry has never looked the player he has for Chelsea with England whilst Ferdinand has usually been one of the few England players to show club form. Terry & Ferdinand should be the perfect partnership. Terry needs someone with pace alongside him & Ferdinand could do with someone who is a bit more rough & tumble alongside him too.

The man will leave at the end of the season.

We'll win or draw this. Mark my words. /knows nobody will mark his words if we lose.

Man Utd - Reign coming to an end or just a bad start?

Giggs still has class in his boots. His touch, intelligence and passing are grossly underrated because he used to be an all-out spectacular dribbler, when in fact hes a very good all round footballer. I have a dislike for Nani because I hate the way the c*** snarls after everything that doesnt go his way, so im a bit biased against him, but even beyond that bias I dont think he's that good a player - as a Giggs replacement, hes a step or two down. Andersen looks half the player Scholes is imo. Which is still pretty decent, but he's got a long, long way to go if he's to be in the same class as Scholes. Agree with the Nani talking but in central midfield they are well placed. Got some of those floppy haired dudes coming through to play with Carrick, Anderson & Hargreaves. -
All this because of that shit player Milner? You people make me laugh.

That we don't hand out contracts willy-nilly. He's got 3 years left on it hasn't he?

Those stats confirm what most of us already thought. He won't be a huge loss for us. They confirm that stats can be used to prove anything lol Did he not miss most of his games under KK ? He was around for all the defeats and when we dropped him and a few others, changed formation we started winning. 2 assists from a winger is dodgy no matter how you sugar coat it.

Alan Smith (my MotM) will prove to be more important than Geremi
The College Dropout replied to Parky's topic in Football
A striker is important. 2 out of our 3 good strikers are injury prone... -
Sounds like a c*** Could someone please translate that into English for me! This must be old, he says he's 15. He's serious about football, just because he rapped (sang?) on the "wifey riddem" instrumental it doesn't mean he's not serious about footie.. stays away from trouble because he doesn't want to die. He's serious about footie because he's trying to make serious money (pea = pounds), fuck the street life although he may attend a house party/rave (shubz) every now and then though. The rest is pretty much self explanatory. btw was this playing in the background of his page?

To think how much ManU have just spent on Hargreaves. On this kind of form Smith against let's not forget a very combative Bolton at their ground laid down the law early on (he talks a lot as well not totally silent like Parker) and never let go of his zone. Fergy had to let him go, but it looks like a mistake. -
I'm glad that it looks like he might provide some real competition to Colo & Taylro.. i thought with Faye gone the first 2 (by that i just mean Taylor) would get overlt comfortable.
-
We'd do well to finish above them and they need new strikers and a DM or two far more than they do defenders. True but if he keeps using Ekoto and Dawson their really not going to scare anyone are they? Aye Chimbonda's far better than that Ekoto lad and Dawson......

Fabricio Coloccini signed from Deportivo La Coruña on 5 year deal

Fabricio: "That was really freaky when you handballed it twice. I've only ever given a penalty away once" Steven: "Aye but Gary Linekar said I deserve an Oscar" -

*cringe* I like how Taylor tends to act like he's the leader.. every time Colo does something Taylor slaps him gently in the face, like he's his father or something.. he used to do that to Habib too, but got found out quickly :colo: -

Taylor self-congratulatory? Never! I hear Taylor is going to wear a different squad number this week, as he is retiring his old one in honour of his performance. To be fair, it was a good save - that shot was going in! Should have been sent off then shouldn't he? The penalty was for the first hand ball. Then he's just a twat. -

I don't want to get carried away but i've been impressed. -
He's crap.

lol @ your biggesy goal threat being Jermaine Jenas... who was pretty shit himself...
-
They'll do better against Chelsea than people think. they are lightweight as fuck, that's their main problem.. lightweight and shit defenders. Long may it continue.
-
Tbh he does only seem to get bummed by truly class players anyway like Drogba & Torres. Would rather we kept faye tbh

Panic signings like Sibierski > Planned signings like Smith

Didn't watch the match tonight but I would say we would like a better out fit if Owen where regularly fit. His movement allows the like sof Lampard, Gerrard & Beckham to make hollywood passes all day because he'll get on the end of one. Really have to play a goal scorer alongside Rooney, who is turning more & more like Dirk Kuyt by the day. At Man Utd he can be dirk Kuyt because they have Ronaldo. Lampard can be Lampard because he has Essien/Mikel alongside him. Gerrard can be Gerrard because he has Mascherano/Alonso alongside him or he has a free role, he's also got a predator to feed.
-
Scoring goals wasn't the problem towards the end. Didn't Ferdinand, Terry & Cole all miss the last couple of matches?
-
It's merked not mirked. Would rather have GOAT mouth as captain tbh... one of the few players to always put in top performances for England. Probably the only player to justify his hype in an England shirt these past 4 or so years.
