  1. Thats one way to look at it, bet Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool dont feel the same, because they actually never get any penaltys against them. Champions League :tu
  2. "Back injury" From what? shooting bad corners? Oldness.
  3. i really wouldn't mind us going down. We're going nowhere as a club. Might as well have something excited to look forward too. Honestly, the season is over for me.
  4. Would be a shocking decision on his part if he was to retire at the end of the season. Aye still a class player. Thanks to be so blessed with pace as a youngster that isn't an issue for him at his age now. It's more so stamina which isn't too bad when you have class on the bench to replace him with.
  5. Thing is. they weren't brilliant. Defensively and in midfield yeah very good but Ronaldo/Rooney/Berbs weren't really at the races. Chelsea lost on organisation & desire alone.
  6. Aye Rooney should get more yellows for all the abuse he throws. Agree with Skirge.
  7. Good player. Technically sound and he's adapting to the league very well.
  8. Fuck happened to Bentley. Wa superb at Blackburn for a few seasons. Can't even cross at this point.
  9. My brother (18) drinks Hennessey just because 2Pac mentioned it in a few songs lol. I would be highly disturbed if my 17 year old son had as many garish (is that even a word?) tattoos as Nile does though.
  10. He's pretty handy **pause** aerially.
  11. Throw in the fact that Beye would be 5 years younger, and Cacapa would be a lot more capable as well, it would have looked impressive! Owen & Duff where probably some of the best players in their position in the world at that time. Geremi & Butt through the middle as well.
  12. We really need to go back to the Sir Bobby youth policy. Our team is very old & slow in general. Teams like Villa have so much more legs in their team.
  13. Our team woul've been immense in 03. Geremi was a very good player. He probably has the most consistent delivery in our own team but his legs have long gone. Same with Butt, Duff & to an extent Owen.
  14. Modric behind Owen or Martins would be superb.
  15. But I agree he's lost pace but he's far more intelligent.
  16. Honestly...... he is not half the player he was at his pomp at Newcastle you couldn't even say he has been a success anywhere else in comparison not too dissimilar to Laurent Robert in that respect. He used to be so quick off the mark watching him now he looks to have lost a great deal of that explosive pace due to injuries I wouldn't dispute him however having improved with more intelligent runs but not a chance is he as destructive to defenses with his pace down the side of defenders as he used to be. LOL. He was superb at Celtic and Blackburn. Poor at L'pool and consistently injured at West Ham. He fucked up at L'pool granted with the Riise shit but the next game they both scored against Barcelona, away I think.
  17. Turns out Harry was probably right to stay.
  18. lol if its true he's going to Madrid this page is priceless. Yea him & Muntari are clearly fools.
  19. In a 5 man midfield (okay 3 central midfielders) Sissoko is brilliant. But he can't operate with just one other CM, his passing becomes exposed. Diarra is great at what he does. Dissapointed we didn't sign him or Muntari when they where available. Shouuld've stayed at Arsenal really, would've come through superbly as last season went on.
  20. I think he dummied it because of the injury. Brilliantly done though.
  21. Haven't watched too much La Liga this season but he was tremendous at the EURO's.
  22. The littleman usually has some pace.
  23. Whilst I think Rooney has a little more class than Tevez and is probably the better player his petulance would lead me too believe he couldn't drag a team away from relegation.
