His shooting looks gash which is strange as he's actually got quite a good shot on him. He's just "bottled" his chances - which clearly looks like he's nervous/all hopes pinned on him type scenario. To be fair to him I thought the ball got under his feet a bit for the 1st chance on Saturday, he got decent contact with the second one which nearly went under Mcgregor and he at least made a decent attempt to get his head on the chance late on which could have won it for us. Don't get me wrong as I've slated him for being crap, but despite him still being a weak as piss fanny he was okay on Saturday.

Routledge is significantly better IMO, although I quite like Sammy. By the age of 22 Wayne Routledge had played over 100 competitive games for Crystal Palace and looked a great prospect. Ameobi's 22 and played less than 40 competitive games. Truly, if he had ambition he would demand a loan and regular first team football. Even if it's league 1. he went on loan to Middlesbrough last season and did pretty well by all accounts.

Why empty your bank account when treatment is free on the NHS? And the answer is 4.

So fuck. It's emotional stuff. The state of NUFC always dictates my mood so I can sympathise with MKSC. Resignation letters like this are pathetic man and give others more ammunition to laugh at us. It's scouse in the extreme.

All a bit scouse this mind.

Just noticed this beauty. I tell you what, go into the Bodega on a match day and say that to Biffa's face. Forgive my potential libel but I personally find it quite strange that a site claiming to be a source of NUFC news and opinion has almost completely brushed over the existence of sackpardew.com like, given that it's obviously entirely relevant and newsworthy to its readership... No they haven't. They put up a link to the website and did a big editorial about the protests.

Squad: Alnwick, Woolston, Williams, Ferguson, Streete, Satka, McKinnon, Gillesphey, Sterry, Olley, Bigirimana, Liam Smith, Barlaser, Gilliead, Roberts, Vuckic. Very young looking squad that which probably means a much changed line up at Palace.

Sick of seeing this nonsense. In yesterday's side and for most of the season, he's been used in the role Anita played last year. The Cabaye replacement is clearly de jong and Cabella played in Cabaye's number ten position yesterday. The nonsense is people like you who still bury their heads in the sand about this. He is the Cabaye replacement and the first name on the team sheet. Interesting when he hasn't once played in the position Cabaye played in. When de jong was fit, he played there and Sissoko has played there when De Jong wasn't fit- which is the same situation as last year. Assuming a midfield three of tiote, colback and de jong, it's fairly clear to see that colback has replaced Anita and de jong has replaced Cabaye. Cabaye played most of his game for us alongside Tiote fwiw. Exactly. He rarely played as a number 10. He was always playing in front of our defence, making the occasional run forward. Was only a few games prior to him being sold when he played in advance positions. If it makes people feel better we can call him the Anita replacement Swansea away 2011/12 season when they had shedloads of possession but we won 2-0, Cabaye was the furthest player forward for most of the game closing down and trying to win back possession.

It was a library. Where was the support for the team? Maybe it was different at the ground but it's the quietest I've ever heard us on TV. Was very loud in the ground mind, best support to the team for ages. And what was the crack with Perez?? He went on for the last 5 minutes or so didn't he which I thought was us going for the win??

Moaned about the referee not booking Cisse for his Jonas shirt. What an idiot. To be fair to him he didn't. He responded to the question from Kamara and Shepherd who stated that under the letter of the law referees had been given instructions to book players displaying logos on their shirts. Sheringham just said okay, where do you draw the line, if they stick to the letter of the law he should have been booked but he understood what the message was etc.

Paul Merson has has spouted some sh*te about Newcastle in the past however on Soccer Saturday today he was spot on when he said that the only protest that would work against Ashley is dont go to the games. Its no problem for me to stay away because it feels more like Sports Direct Athletic than Newcastle United to me these days. Hope fat c* nt changes the kit to red white and blue. He might as f* ckin' well. F*ck me, I' m even starting to wish Fat Fred owned the club again. ( I know, shoot me!) Aye, saw that this lunchtime. Then Le Tissier backed it up with a story from his time at Southampton. They had a manager (can't remember which one) who was struggling and unpopular with fans for about 2 years. Nothing changed until the supporters stopped going to games. Then , it began to hit the cub, and the manager was despatched. It might only take a few games of low home attendances, but that might be the key factor that makes the difference. Maybe that could be SackPardew.com next line of attack? Ian Branfoot. Though in them days there wasn't pots of Sky money to compensate. Well there was but nowhere near as much. He comes from Gateshead. Me and my dad used to drink with his dad in The Waggon at the end of the Team valley.

Me neither. I passed a bloke on Strawberry Place opposite Barker and Stonehouse before the match with a box full trying to hand them out to people but most people were just walking passed without taking one.

Which positives Ian? The fact that we showed a bit of bottle and came back from 2-0 down when we could have completely capitulated and shipped 4 or 5 for starters. So a positive is now doing the bare minimum? We shouldn't be shipping goals at home to Hull period. But I guess that's an improvement on the 3 we shipped to palace. You seem the sort of guy who would be content with 11 James milner grafting out 0-0s week in week out. I like James Milner mind, always have done. Was treated very shabbily by us.

He was a lot better today and wasn't really playing wide, seemed to be supporting Riviere and floating from right to left. He's still as weak as piss and a right fanny though and had a cheek telling their player to get up off his arse and get on with it late on when they got a free kick on the byeline.

There were black bags full of them at most turnstiles. There were none at ours and no one searching anyone either tbf.

He was very sharp today and looked ecstatic to be involved again.
