I thought we played well today, on the front foot from the start and only conceded due to sloppy individual errors. We also showed a lot of bottle to get back from 2 down. Was a much better atmosphere than previously as well with good support to the team.

Aye, only the two conceded. 10/10 The goals came from 2 individual errors from Colback and Tiote though. Not Colo's fault.

I want pardew gone, but I also want to go and watch and enjoy a football match with my 11 year old who neither cares nor understands about protests (except she's hated pardew from day one cos he's got terrible hair!) and I don't want us to become cut adrift at the bottom with no new manager in sight to save us. I think Hull last season showed his job is as safe as houses unfortunately.

Management and coaching have moved on a lot since the 1990's and with the TV money enabling smaller clubs like Swansea and Southampton the funds to spend as much as us, it really does come down to the manager. Pardew is simply outwitted by just about every manager he comes up against unless it's another dinosaur like Paul Lambert.
