Put £1 on him to score any time. Bring on the fuckin money!!!!!
-
Not sure. Don't know the process. They have heads of big business speaking to select committees in parliament quite often though.
-
McCarthy would be a brilliant signing if we could get him for £10-15 million IMO. Getting better and better, would improve with better players around him and is future captain material. Would tick the boxes on sell on value for Fat Ashley too.
-
For me, its nothing to do with the actual player. It's that we've pissed about for a month or two pretending to go after this player then made a bid that was never going to be accepted and a wage offer that the player would never accept. The actual player is irrelevant.

And lets be honest, Ashley is going to concentrate on Rangers now. He buys them and its up up up with minimal outlay. A club where millions buy their shirts. When he's exploited them for all they're worth, he'll give up on them too. As long as the shirts are flying off the shelf at maximum profit and Sports Direct are being promoted he couldn't really give a fuck. Even our club shop, i don't believe for a second the club are seeing any of the money it makes. It will basically be another Sports Direct in all but name. They were bombarding me with emails trying to sell tat from the club shop. I just sent a simple reply back telling them to fuck off, and I got an email back from Sports Direct saying my comments had been noted and they would be replying to me.

It's annoying that there is literally nobody to be questioned about the shambles. Pardew is the only spokesman the press can ask about anything and he's basically a puppet with no influence in the slightest.
-
So in early September our management can say 'We tried to bring in players, but business is tough in the summer window and we couldn't get them ove.....' - f*** it I'm not completing that f***ing arsehole's soundbite. Oh aye I agree. It's all stalling tactics. They must think we're fuckin stupid. Remember the bids for Michael Johnson and Kieran Richardson. We're doing nothing until this fat cunt leaves. So depressing.

So Fulham are offering twice what we are in wages. Sorry, but he was never going to come here for £30k a week. Why did we even bother our arses if it was £2million and £30k pw?

CCCCCCIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Nothing to do with age tbh. Seems loads of older fans make absolute cunts of themselves. Villa away season before last for example. Loads of racism and dragging Irish flags down in disgust in an Irish pub with the usual No Surrender shit.
-
He does have hope, in that he was once great for us. If he can return to that form theres no denying he would be an asset. I don't really trust our management team to improve any player though unfortunately.
-
Doubt he cares much either way TBH. I'm sure it came out in the Keegan case that they were basically lying to try and keep people onside. Pardew was the perfect appointment too because he can bullshit his way out of almost anything. Llambais was constantly bullshitting to try and sell some new ridiculous idea to fans. Ashley care's less than he did when he first joined, but he still wants 50'000 gullible cunts paying him £30 a ticket to watch the team play.
-
It's nothing like a new signing at all. Thats the kind of PR bullshit Ashley wants us to swallow.
-
He's Ashley's go to guy when he needs a Geordie to back up one of ridiculous decisions. Well, him or chief arselicker Beardsley.
-
It was decent until it all went tits up over the last few days of the window.
-
Defending absolutely horrendous, friendly or not.
-
He was horrendous. The most worrying thing however was that he was just strolling round looking like he was hardly trying. He should be busting a gut and trying impress, not just going through the motions. Obertan was shit too, but he looked interested at least.

The thing was though, we had a good first 11 out for nearly all of last season certainly compared to the teams around us, but the tactics and set piece routines counteracted it. We do have good players, but ive no confidence in the manager, and tbh, the coaches, getting the best out of them. Agree, I'm afraid... Cabaye, Ba,Cisse, Tiote and the rest worked well together - but now that AP got the time to have an influence he spoils it! We'd ve better of letting everyone (not Tiote) act on instinct! NO manager at all, and let some Random Dude pick the team... Granted, last night was the first friendly, but the set pieces were the same. Vuckic took free kick on half way line, everyone up, and floated straight to the keeper. We should be working on new set piece routines.

At the moment nobody will buy us. We're basically floating along doing the bare minimum until something changes. Clubs like Norwich and Swansea are showing the ambition we should be. We're rotten top to bottom. Virtually nothing at the club is done to its maximum potential. As a club we don't even try to succeed so we don't deserve anything.

Half an hour. Had one chance but didn't do anything else. Not really impressed by his positioning tbh. Looks a long way from being ready from his limited first team appearances so far imo. -
Bent and Remy wouldn't be my first choices, but we need numbers in now. Cisse, Bent, Remy and Gouffran would be a decent set of strikers for the season. Take away one of them and we're short. Shola doesn't count. We defiantly need another right back imo too. Tavernier isn't good enough to cover. Anita can, Santon can and Steven Taylor can at an absolute push, but we need someone to put a bit of pressure on Debuchy. A winger would be good too, but there doesn't seem to be a desire to sign one which is disappointing.

Think the banner is pretty good tbh. It could be far worse. Quite a few anti-Ashley chants tonight that I havent heard in a few years.
