How the f*** does Berwick not count? Is Ramage not from Ashington? Hooper was born somewhere like Nottingham wasn't he? Alot of Berwick people were born in Ashington. Me for example too.

How the fuck does Berwick not count?

Nearly spewed when i heard the Kop singing happy birthday to Kenny.
-
Thought he started well but faded when Shola came on and he wasnt the main target.

That Celtic leftback looks decent.

Desperate we win this game after travelling to Bolton earlier in the season. Our midfield should be far stronger which will help.4 I too would start Lov/Best. Ranger is still looking more of an impact sub to me.
-
Notts County in the League Cup. 93/94. We won 4-1 with an Andy Cole hattrick.
-
The FA can fuck off basically. They were going to ban Ranger, then find out a 'United' play did the same thing so stopped it. Fuckin arseholes!

That derby should be good against Blyth. How many will Gateshead be expecting to take through.

The mackem match was brilliant, but for best 'moment', it would have to be either Tiote or Shola v Chelsea. The final whistle at Everton was brilliant too. I know we had beaten Villa 6-0, but the Everton game for me just said, we're back.

My mate left for a pie and a piss on about 40mins of the Everton game. Have to laugh at what he missed! He also missed the Colo goal v Wigan leaving early.

I'm more annoyed at the people who leave 10mins before the end tbh, especially when there's something to play for. During the Spurs game we were 1-0 up and all these people started to leave blocking my view in the corner between Gallowgate and East Stand. Something happened and this old guy leaving stopped to look at the game. This guy behind me just shouted 'if you're going, fuck off!' Rightfully so in my opinion. Unfortunatly this old guy didn't get the hint and took the huff, demanding season ticket numbers from anyone who dared to tell him to move or to fuck off out the way. It went on for about the last 5mins of the game. This old bastard, disturbing everyone whilst on the pitch it was basically end to end. People were getting more and more annoyed, but despite the action on the pitch, all he could care about was season ticket numbers and trying to get a steward over. As for Saturday, there was a young guy they showed on all the highlights with a blue top on. He wasn't leaving or anything, he just couldn't find his seat and was pretty pished. He did stay until the end. Don't know him personally but saw him on Sat night in Berwick.

Its along time since ive read something so utterly ridiculous! What an absolute arsehole of a man! I could go through that ripping absolutly everything written to pieces, but whats the point. Written by someone so far up his own arse its unbelievable.

Not that it means much, but sure he signed a new contract a month or so back.

I can't remember as many absolute highs alongside punishing lows. The highlights being the 6-1, the Ben Arfa strike and win at Everton, the magnificent derby win, Chelsea in the cup, the Arsenal win, the Best hatrick, Colo against Wigan, the Colo goal v Spurs, and todays amazing match. The Tiote goal was about the best moment tbh. Then the abject early home performances, Bolton, West Brom, the Hughton sacking, deadline day, first half yesterday, the Ben Arfa leg break, Stevenage.

Lets get this right, Newcastle United havent just lost their best player! Our best player now, and last Monday morning infact just equalised against Arsenal with a wonderful strike!
-
I would totally understand why fans at any other club would be annoyed in a similar situation. I would expect Huddersfield fans to be annoyed if Lee Clark said similar if we had signed their best player, never mind the captain of a club saying it after a transfer between two clubs in the same division.

It'd be like your best mate telling your lass to go with the flash bloke down the road, because he's better looking and got more money than you. But you'd still be pals, because he's just 'telling it like it is'. he hasnt said anything wrong. he said he's sad he's gone but happy he's gone to a good club, whats wrong with that? the only thing pissing people off here is they dont want to admit to the truth, liverpool are investing in the future and we're happy staying up and flogging our best players or not paying them what they're worth. Bollocks! which bit? The 'he hasnt done anything wrong' bit.

Not much of an apology. He just shouldn't have said anything in the first place, no matter his personal feelings. Again, we havent seen Gerrard on ChelseaTV talking about it Torres getting a great move. It would never happen, and quite rightly the Liverpool fans would be up in arms about it.

When did he apologise?

However, spending a bit on wages for a loan player in a position we're short, isn't. They gambled two years ago by not bringing in players in the positions we were short, and we ended up relegated and losing far more money than we would have had we signed a decent central midfielder. One point we went down by! One decent midfielder could have produced a bit of magic in a game we drew in, like Portsmouth at home, or Fulham. We gambled, looked terrible for the rest of the season and went down.
