    Alan Pardew

Half the players were up Souness' arse when he was here. Shearer especially. Didn't make him a good manager.
  2. Their bus got attacked on the way out of Berwick yesterday too.
  3. Thought he had a good game today.
  4. If Shola's not fit, fuck knows what we're going to do. Ranger and Lovenkrands doesnt sound great. I'd be tempted to get Xisco in there.
  5. Shows how far Liverpool have fallen when the substituation of David N'gog produces that kind of reaction. haha.
  6. Good little player. Used to watch him when he was about 17 in the 3rd Division for Stenhousemuir. Used to be nippy as anything and had some great games. Only problem was he was a bit undisiplined in his play.
  7. His crossing is no worse than Routledge and his pish floated crosses gifting the keeper an easy catch.
  8. Why is everyone getting 5 and a half year contracts?
  9. It was ridiculous. For the second year running SSN were at Spurs training sucking up to 'Arry. This year though, they pushed him about Carroll, obviously pre-prepared as the second part of the tap up. This time they had a montage of Carroll to show whilst Redknapp praised him. "Give Spurs fans waking up a nice xmas present" - Jim White Part 1 - Story is released to the press that Spurs are after someone, Part 2 - Redknapp comes out and admits he's a player he admires, but he belongs to (in this case) Noocarsiw. He doesnt think he will want to leave. Part 3 - Bid for the player after unsettling them. This time, all backed up by Sky.
  10. Yeah this was the best. Also enjoyed this game more than any others apart from the mackem game.

    Sunderland...

Can't imagine going to see them now, but in the past I went to see them play a few times. Once against Cardiff and another time v Bradford. Also in the West Ham end at the SOS a few years back because i took my brother along. He's a West Ham fan. I didn't go to support Sunderland in any of these games obviously, but I was bored and my mates were going. I didnt used to hate them as much as I do now though. Think I would just get annoyed and hate it if I went now.
  12. How has this got anything to do with homophobia?! Ridiculous!
  13. Not if we end up losing £50million and relegated. Sounds like a load of shit anyway. Sell Parker for £20mil and buy Barton for £1.25. hahaha.

Good idea. I'm @DavidJG80 Agree. The more fans the better. @BrianNUFC
  15. FYP TBF, only Jose Enrique and Andy Carroll are irreplaceable, the rest of them can go at the right price. Obviously there are some you'd like to keep but for example rumours suggest Liverpool are after Jonas for £8m... ..who wouldn't take that? Now could be a good time for a fire-sale. Shake your heed man, we wouldn't be where we are without these players they have got us here not ashley or pardrew. We have a super thin squad and people are happy to see ?millions feed into ashley and not the squad from outgoing sales Do you think we will spend 50% of the money we get from sales ? Same players who took us down as well. They weren't good enough then and aren't now if were honest and why people fear relegation again. Getting Barton off the wage bill isn't top priority for me, like I said Smith needs to be first out of the door, but there are players on our books who's wages don't match their ability, Barton is one of them. Bollocks. Alot of the players WERE good enough. We had better players than most of the teams around us. There are a number of reasons we went down. 1) Barton was injured for most of the season. 2) Colocinni was in his first year of English football and it took him at least half a season to adapt. 3) Him, and Bassong, both capable Premier League defenders werent helped by the fact we had a slow off the pace centre of midfield who couldnt attack and couldn't help the defence. 4) We had a number of players who werent interested enough, but thankfully they left in the summer. 5) The team had no leadership and was a shambles with managers who werent up to the job. Shearer and Kinnear especially. 6) Ashley left us managerless for about 8 of those games through the season. 7) Our squad was totally unbalanced with good players in most areas, but terrible players in the centre of midfield. If you're trying to say the reason we went down was just because the players werent good enough, then thats wrong. A number of things came together which saw us missing out on staying up by ONE point. I wasn't. End of conversation. Saying "The same players took us down. They werent good enough then and arent good enough now" suggests otherwise. If you didn't mean that, I suggest you word your posts better. I really couldn't care less what you think tbh. Ive no idea what you think, because you say one thing, then say you mean something else.

    £10 million?

He'll probably be given shitloads, spend it on shite, then get sacked when it makes us worse. Souness.
  20. The fact is we have bottling bastards in our squad already. I'll be interested to see how the new man handles them. I know you're only fishing, but we certainly don't have any bottlers, not compared to the other 19 clubs.

    Alan Pardew

Just been watching SSN. David Craig seems to think it will be unfortunate if fans start demonstrating and make their feelings known about this, as its a kneejerk reaction.
