Thought it looked good in the photos so went to buy it today. Changed my mind when I saw it. I hate the chunky Northern Rock bit, the new numbers and letters, but the worst bit is the cheap NUFC stuck on the back of the neck. I have the AC Milan shirt for this season and Rossinari is nicely stitched in quite small and looks really smart. Ours just looks shit and tacky!

Great post! I agree that all the defenders were shit last night, but just look at the facts. Bramble was partly at fault for the first goal, trying to play an offside in an unbelievable position. It was one of the worst examples I have ever seen of somebody trying to play an offside trap, without even looking along the line first. For the second, all the blame has to go to Bramble for totally losing his man. He doesnt have the quickness of thought to be able to sort this fault out ion his game. Add the that the stupid lunge near the edge of the box in the first half that could have led to a dangerous free kick. Thankfully the ref played advantage and it only came to a corner. The ref had a word with Bramble at the time, but had it given a free kick he would have been booked. Then one of the stupidest challenges I have seen him make for his booking. There is no need to lunge n like an idiot when a player is on the wing like that. He came from quite far back to lunge in and should have stayed on his feet and stopped the player getting anywhere. FFS, this is one of the first things a defender should learn! Dont dive in! Add to that the other lapses of concentration he had all night. If this man gets a new contract it will be a total disgrace!

If Bramble gets a new contract its a total disgrace. It made me feel physically sick when I read about him in The Sun the other week. Not the story, but the fact that it happened in HIS MANSION!!!! This cunt has been taking the piss out of us for so long. He is a Championship defender who belongs at a place like Southend of Plymouth, not in the Premiership, and certainly not in Europe. If he was foreign he would be gone long ago. His hero chellenges (lunging when when theres no need) are getting beyond a joke! He does one successful one and the crowd love it! Why?, I havent got a clue! Its dangerous and unless this thick slow idiot times it right, it ends in disaster! Tonight he tried two and was booked for the second. Pathetic and embarasing!

I like Glen Roeder, but its a simple fact that he isnt a good enough manager to manage a team who want to challenge for trophies and up towards the top of the league. Tonight went exactly the way I thought it would. Glen picked a without any plan in the slightest. We should have either went there and attacked, with a 4-3-2-1, or went and put 5 across midfield to stop AZ. We did neither and it was predictable. Fat Freddie wont do anything though. I expected us to challenge for 5th place. 7th last year after a terrible start to the season and a good ending. Can't see why anyone outside the top 4 should be finishing above us. 2. Each to their own really but it doesnt bother me. I usually refer to us as Newcastle, Toon or the Geordies. Don't really like "Toon Army" either. Sounds a bit shit I think. Overall though, id prefere us to be refered to as the place name rather than the second name.

Lennon is a prick who plays the 'poor me' card all the time. It's no wonder he is hated throughout Scotland the way he goes on on the pitch.

Small lightweight Stenny striker who is highly rated. He has plenty pace but is very lightweight. Seen him a few times against Berwick and he hasnt scored. Usually scores against the weaker teams in Division 3, but he doesnt even start all of the time. In my opinion, he is no better than Danny Swanson who we have at Berwick. Hull and Forest are after him. If we can get Templeton cheap then he might be worth taking a chance on, but I cant see him making it in the Prem personally. Would like to be wrong though.

There are our best two centre defenders and should be first choice. Bramble and Moore arent good enough.
