Just had John Terry on the TV behind me saying they could still qualify and believed they would. It was a flat proclamation, no emotion, no belief. This guy is captain?
edit:
I never saw the whole thing, clearly.
Anyone who is not a marionette to nationalistic impulses is taking a step towards opening their minds, in my opinion. (- pointless caveat, I'm not stating someone else's opinion.)
Bizarre, written by the same person who wrote the 'it is a fact' press release and who clearly shouldn't have anything to do with releasing statements.
For what it's worth I think it's just badly written resulting in a garbled message. I still expect to see two or three new players arriving and a few million spent in the process.
Only thing that surprised me was how he never swapped Jonas and Routledge round for a while. Given how little change Perch was giving Jonas all night I would have thought it a good move.
Best game I've seen this season, and Enrique made it a memorable game indeed. Hats off to Forest for coming up here and playing for it. Be happy enough to see Perch join us in the summer.
They showed a bit of belief about themselves, a real desire to fight back. It was nice to see, don't think they could have done that earlier this season.
I don't think that's an extreme opinion. Do you think the team are happy playing long ball football - or should I say do you think they might prefer to play a little more football?
I don't know how you can take 11 players who have trained to be footballers all their lives, (well, since about 11 or 12), and make them look like you took 11 guys out of the stand half an hour before kick-off.
