  1. We've earned 5 points since he's left. Palace have earned at least 10 in that period. Pardew in the long-term is a very average PL manager. But he's doing way better with that side than a decent Championship manager in Warnock. I don't even think Carver could do a job in the Championship. He's awful. No redeemigmn abilities. Not really. I see absolutely no discernible difference between the two of them whatsoever. 9 points from 10 games since the last game he was involved in for us (Everton). A bit worse than Pardews average for the season for us. Carver is even worse than Pardew at getting results, but not by that much IMO and I'm still very happy he's gone.

    Sunderland

34 points is the lowest any teams ever survived on I think, so they'll need at least 8 more points, realistically 10.
  3. Bringing in Pardew was a great move by Parish. Evidently. So far, like I said he now needs to get out while the goings good.
  4. Did really well until he brought in a narcissistic fraud. Though if he sells quick before things go to shit I suppose it could still be a shrewd move overall for him personally.
  5. Apparently not. If we go there and play half way decent we should win, but we'll probably see Gouffran and Ameobi either side of Riveiere up front and the glorious return of Jack Colback instead.
  6. Aye its only partially that useless cunts fault.

You mean a punch that can potentially kill vs spitting that can potentially annoy? Being spat on is disgusting, but Evans can hardly be disgusted by it given he was the one who did it to begin with.
  8. Aye fucking atrocious, still stands out for me as the worst game I've ever sat through.
  9. Even worse than that 0-1 defeat to Sheffield United under Roeder? Or our 1-0 loss to Derby under Allardyce? A Derby side that up until then had only 1 point and ended the season with 11.
  10. I'll preface this by saying i'm over the moon that Pardew has finally gone and this is in no way an endorsement of his shithouse tactics and horrible football but.... I didn't think it was possible for us to look like we had even less of an idea of what we were supposed to be doing on a football pitch than when he was here but our brave crumpled faced necromancer has somehow achieved it. Especially in the last 3 games we've gone out looking like 11 lads plucked from the street, given boots and kit and told to get on with it. No shape, no plan, no organisation or movement. I don't know what they're doing in training but none of our players seem to have any idea of where on the pitch they're supposed to be in any given phase of play, it's like a pick up game on the street. Positional discipline is non existent (see Colo charging forward on the counter yesterday ending up at the edge of the Villa box), players are just roaming around the pitch depriving us of width and options and meaning that when the opposition get the ball they have massive spaces to exploit. I've honestly never seen a professional, elite level football team play in such an amateur and haphazard way. It's like a sunday league team's idea of 'Total Football'. That's a really good summing up - struck me pretty much from the start that there was no clear game plan or structure, the players were just winging it. A better side would have picked us apart, as we'll probably see on Wednesday night... We've looked that clueless under Pardew before and even more toothless at times as well IMO. But aye we were shambolic, Carver is shit as are the rest of our coaching staff, if you can call them that.
  11. Don't think they have the quality or depth Tottenham have. They do have some quality (though first season for some of them so wait and see) but my point was more about the manager. IMO he's overachieving to get them in that kind of position, that's not to say a better manager shouldn't have them there or there abouts, but he's a shit Footballing dinosuar so I don't see him continuing it.
  12. Fat headed charlatan is just getting his excuses in early. Knows West Ham are over performing and he'll never sustain it unless they give him even more to spend. Next season he can reference this interview as an example of the problems he's having with unreasonable expectations at West Ham if the owners haven't spent another pile of cash on more new players.
  13. Shame Pardew didn't have a quality young central defender, a winger full of flair and a number 10 with a good passing range to push us up from a mid table team to something more. Unfortunately the limited resources meant we could never have the likes of Yanga-Mbiwa, Hatem Ben Arfa and Sylvain Marveaux eh big sam?... you clueless cunt.
  14. As if Villa could ever score 4 in a game ffs
  15. Dortmund are 3 points above the relegation zone? What the fucks going on there like?
  16. It'll be Carvers decision wether he plays or not IF he's made available to play by the board, and if it was ever true that he can get a new contract if he plays a certain number of games (or am I misremembering that being reported?) then he won't be made available.
  17. If a foreign manager had Pardew's record, our xenophobic national media would have launched vicious hate campaign against them. Yep any foreign manager would have been hounded out by the media long ago for doing what Pardew did.
  18. Just sounds like its come and gone, with the reports saying he hadn't interviewed well ect (wasn't enough of a snivelling arse kisser probably). I'd love to think he can still come here but I don't believe it for a second now.
  19. Or he could have thought "fucking easy to do better than that shit". Obviously not coming here now anyway like.
  20. Yeah but Carver isn't Pardew. Then he turned out to be Carvdew. I'm concerned we'll get Christophe Pardier whereas I'm pretty sure Garde will be just Garde. And not Parde. Carvers been there with his tongue lodged up Pardews arse for ages, with a large portion of the responsibility of training the players to produce the shit Pardew served up. So it was never likely we'd get anything but the same old bollocks from him. Just a less insufferable and slightly less negative version of Pardew. Galtier though is from outside so would be absolutely fine by me. Course I want Garde, heard great things about him, but Galtier would still be an excellent appointment considering the alternative already in charge.
  21. Easy enough to discredit that article right from the start: We were sitting 10th when Pardew left with 7 points from our last 7 matches. We're now 11th with 6 points from our last 7 matches, yeah went right to hell when Pardew left like
  22. Lukaku's a player with loads of promise currently having a shit season, just don't think he's really class quite yet like.
