Definitely less competitive in la liga, teams aren't hurried and rushed and too many teams are very soft centered, lovely technical league to watch though.
-
Janmaat's also 4 years younger!
-
Probably would have cost £5m or £6m more, still worth it like. Not that Welbeck isn't a good player, but Bony would have been more what they needed.
-
Personally I wouldn't, he almost cost us the game and its far from the first time. At 2-0 up its imperative to just stay calm and solid for 5 minutes and its game over. Instead he did exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time, gives them a chance to get one back straight away and puts us under more pressure for the remaining 10+ minutes. At 28 he should know better, but its the kind of thing he does repeatedly, don't think we can risk him in important games. Its a pity because he does have some good attributes and when he actually uses his brain he can be quite a good defender.

No mention of an injury, probably just a tactically inept sub.

Really just shows how desperate people are to get rid of Pardew, even someone as shit as Bruce is considered an improvement. Though the more I see of his Hull team I think he might be a sideway step, outside of perhaps not being as slimey as Pardew.
-
Aye doing great in our nice little purple patch, we'll play like this consistently going forward no doubt..
-
So that's Lyon, Marseille, Newcastle and Hull now. None of it is his fault though! Who says nothing is his fault? I couldn't give a fuck if he pissed on Pardew every day, all I care about is what I see on the pitch and I can see that he didn't deserve to be treated the way he was based on performances. Apparently I only saw 3 or 4 good performances though so what do I know Only 10-15 decent games as well apparently, in that case I wonder if any of our players in the last 10 years have had more than a hand full of decent games

No ffs I was talking about January 1st, six games from now. The range of possible points is somewhere between 20 and 38, so I can't be wrong with that guess, just taking the piss
-
You think we will get 10 points(at least 2 wins) from Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Everton and the mackems? We will have near to 24 points at best imo at the start of it with Chelsea and Soton to come in Jan. Will no doubt take the end of the window to get near 30 points the way we are going We could just as easily have 30 points by Jan 1st as 24 points to be fair. Anywhere from 20 to 38 would be my guess though

Hate the fucker personally, not only shit at his job but ignorant with it.
-
No EDIT: Can pop a goal in every now and then though

Bet Perez is wondering what this wierd sport is called that he's involved in at the moment, definitely not Football.
-
All going great in Pardews eyes this, scrap and maybe we might catch a break eventually!
-
What the fuck was Tiote doing? Flailing around trying to control the ball and getting in Abeid's way in the process.
-
Disgustingly slow Williamson like.
-
What's that?, 7 or 8 hoofs forward in the first 2 minutes?..
-
Agree with all of that but I thought he hasnt taken money out of the club bar a small percentage of what he was owed What has happened to all the TV money? over £50M last year alone wasn't it? Nearer £80m with the prize money for 10th, etc. All gone. There should be at least £30m of it unspent, we won't know for sure exactly where it is until we see the latest financial report.

Win four in a row without Gouffran, bring him back and lose, solution?, start Gouffran again -
Aye but he could just keep the ball stuck on the end of his horn and gallop into the net! Any tackle on the ball would be a high foot and any other tackle a pen. Really coming round to this unicorn idea!!

His years playing upfront he was 1 in 2. Pretty sure I read that when he first signed. He previously used to play out wide, but that was at least three years prior to joining us. I think the very best he's ever managed over a full season is about 1 in 3. I don't think for one second he'd do as well as that in the PL. Anyway, who cares? Cisse and Perez are better players and better strikers. Scored a goal every 2.6 games in 2011-2012 season and a goal every 2.2 games in 2012-2013. Its hard to judge him as a striker here when he's never been given a chance up front. Granted he's playing like shit at the moment, but playing out of position for years can do that to you. Not when you factor in the games he played for us that season. Either way, he had 8 goals in France when he signed for us at the end of January. It doesn't bode well. 8 league goals in only 20 games though, which is an excellent record and does bode well IMO. Right now I certainly wouldn't be looking to start him up front (or anywhere else) because he looks shot and we have Perez. Just saying that before he joined us his recent record was 1 in 2 and its pathetic that Pardew never gave him a chance up top for us.

Hopefully they don't change managers between now and December 21st and we might actually have a chance even with Pardew.

Starts against Tottenham today.
