Leicester (h) Spurs (a) Liverpool (h) West Brom (a) QPR (h) West Ham (a) Burnley (a) Chelsea (h) Arsenal (a) Sunderland (h) Man U (a) Everton (h) before we start with the reverse fixtures We'll be lucky to be on 10 points if we don't beat Leicester, it's that bad. Edit: these fixture lists are allowed nowadays, aren't they? if things go as well as you could reasonably expect you're probably looking at 9-10 points from those games at the absolute, absolute maximum (beat leicester, burnley & QPR then a point somewhere) - but even then that's only 14 f***ing points turning in to the second half of the season we're done What does Ashley not see here? Or what is he seeing that we're not? Surely he's arsed about us going down? It's in black and white, with that run of fixtures he's banking on us making 30 points from the reverse fixtures, when you consider that we couldn't do a 3rd of that so far there's no nails left to put in our coffin. He hasn't got the knowledge of Football to look at those fixtures and see anything, he has to be told what he's seeing by his mates. Pardew will be telling him "its only 7 games" and "but we have injuries and too many new players bedding in".

My guess that it's the upper centre and the actual screen will be 3 times that length and twice the height, it has to be. Doubt it, the screen covers the scaffold that's shown on the back on the other pic. Looks oughly 20 feet high and 30 feet wide which matches the 60 square meters they're talking about. Looks shit and they should have gone for bigger, but quite possibly is one of the biggest LED screen in the Premier League at 60 square meters. EDIT: Arsenal's screens are listed as 70 square meter LED.

Some of our fans are actually thick enough to believe that unfortunately "well if Beardo says so".
-
Slimy sniveling prick can fuck right off.
-
Not sure relegation would get rid of Ashley at all personally. Willing to risk relegation to get rid of Pardew though.
-
Lose please, a convincing 0-3 would be nice. Won't get Pardew sacked immediately unfortunately but its essential to keep us at the bottom long enough for the stubborn prick in charge to finally pull the trigger.

Goes back to over rule a goal for offside that was miles onside.. what a fucking mong.
-
Also how much would the likes of Varane go for now if they were sold?, probably for 10x what we've agreed on to sell Yanga-Mbiwa to Roma. Makes me fucking sick, never hated anyone like the piece of absolute shit we have to call "manager".

He aint going to sack him, there's more evidence for Ashley keeping him then there is for sacking him. When will people realise this. He's Ashleys Patsie and he will be here next season. Sure he will be happy to blow £70m on a patsy like.. Only way Pardew will still be here next season is if he starts winning games. Once it becomes blindingly obvious he's getting us relegated he'll be gone patsy or not, just hope its not too late by then. Where in the worst form under pardrew and will be religated. Ashley aint getting rid of him Yeah that should be clear to anyone who has a clue about Football (though look at some of the ex pros and some of our own fans still saying Pardew should stay..), but Ashley knows fuck all about it. IMO he'll be gone once the stupid cunt finally realises that relegation isn't just a gamble under Pardew but basically a certainty. Not a chance does a stingy fucker like him throw away that kind of money, he'll gamble it, but not knowingly throw it away. Just worried he'll get enough shitty draws and occasional wins to convince the mongs that he has a chance of keeping us up right up until January/February so by the time they catch on its already too late.

Personally I never expected him to be sacked after Southampton, Hull or Stoke, Ashley's too thick/stubborn for that. It was just important to lose those games to build pressure on him (still pissed off by that come back against Hull..). IMO keep losing and he'll be gone before the start of November. Could very well be too late but at least I'd be able to look forward to the remaining 29 games to some degree and get behind the team even if it is in a relegation battle.

Far to early to give up on Pardew being sacked. Ashley's a stubborn fucker who knows fuck all about Football so he was never going to sack Pardew six or seven games into the season (despite the utter shit results since January that's how he'll see it). But the fact is if he keeps losing he will have to go in the near future. I don't buy all the talk about Ashley not being bothered about relegation ect, he'll want the club in the Premier League whether he's here to stay or planning on selling up. It just has to get to the point where it becomes crystal clear to him that we're heading straight for the Championship with Pardew in charge, no gamble either way, a dead cert. Once that becomes clear to him Pardews gone. Best thing is to just keep losing every single game, even a single win could be enough to put a doubt in his mind.

So we're just talking about them not renewing after the 2 years? EDIT: Articles on about them ditching the sponsorship claiming it was a 4 years deal, thought I remembered it being only 2 years?
-
Not sure how they can bail out, surely we have a contract for the full £16m over two years so it has to be paid?
-
I would happily drop out of this league if it meant we would be rid of both Pardew and Ashley and could regain just a little bit of pride So would I, I was talking about what Ashley would lose with regards to this idea that he wouldn't mind relegation. Having said that I don't see a single reason why relegation would get rid of Ashley.

You recon the extra coverage is worth £70m? Expensive ad campaign that. Depends if at that point he just cuts his losses and does one. It doesn't, he can leave anytime he wants, he'd find a buyer now if he sold at the right price and right now that price would be much higher then he'd get after relegation. He'd also be making much more money in the meantime from Premier League TV revenue. The only question that matters here is would losing £70m plus by being relegated somehow earn him much more than that through some kind of weird advertising ploy as you suggested. Think the answer is obviously a big no.
-
Worth remembering when talking about relegation that its not just the loss in TV money. Obviously we'd lose £70-80m and for two seasons parachute payments would cover £15 to £20m(?) of that. But you then have Football league financial fair play, which will fine you £1 for every £1 you lose. We'll obviously be in the red both seasons by £15-£20m, meaning even if we do come back up we then have a £30-£40m fine to pay.

Seems either the thickest billionaire ever, the most stubborn ever or just the oddest oddball we could have had the misfortune to land up with. He's shy to spend a few million over what the club makes but isnt bothered about losing £70m per year? Course he would man, he loathes losing money and I think that's part of the problem. He won't want to pay full compensation, if he thinks he can wait Pardew out to save some or all of it and still have enough games left to turn things around he'll risk it. We know he's a gambler, the only question here is how far will he go. When does he realise its to late?, 30 games left?, 25?.
-
I'm quite sure he wont be here for the season tbh. Question is, will it be too late then... Aye Ashley isn't suicidal and Pardew isn't turning this around on or off the pitch. Its a matter of when he's sacked and if we then have enough games to survive under a new manager.
-
Haidara is better than Dummet though to be fair.
-
Like giving away a grand then begging for rent money.. The mans fucking demented.
-
Yet the wet cunt interviewing him didn't have the guts to say "do you regret letting Ben Arfa go out on loan?, he could have provided what you're looking for".
-
Don't know about that this season like, I mean we're still somehow not bottom of the league, frankly that's incredible. Thirty games is more than enough to get us safe for any half decent manager.
-
Wow, surprised at that like Have to say it, well done PiersMorgan
