So what value are they rating Ireland at?

Until recently Bent basically was Sunderland when it comes to scoring goals. Gyan and Welbeck are doing ok at the moment, but that's a pretty short spell to come to the decision that they don't need Bent all of a sudden. He is a selfish player, but its certainly the good kind IMO, he scores more goals then anyone else, at least over the last couple of seasons.

What a load of mongs, he'd be due at least a couple of million as a loyalty bonus if he didn't put in a request. It would need to be some golden handshake for him to agree to take the blame for something that wasn't even his idea and forgoe the loyalty bonus he's already due..

We won't, and it is, IMO

NO I don't want him.. just do it as a wind up Would be amazing if we bid for him, got to the stage were he'd chosen us and spent days and days on terms and then released a statement saying we didn't really want the mackem prick Even better, we sign him and then send him out on a week's loan every week to whoever Sunderland are playing Nice idea Though I wouldn't want to pay good money to humiliate Sunderland, I'd want to try to do it for free, that's all the fuckers are worth.

18m won't get both of them, and i doubt fergie would sell welbeck 18mill won't get both but i don't think thats all they are allowed to use. n'zogbia for 11 or 12 and the rest towards wellbeck, whhich i doubt would be too far short really. i don't think they's want to sell wellbeck but if they are made a decent offer they may well have a good look at it, fernandez is looking the bia right now. Is there any real reason to believe that Wigan would sell N'Zogbia for £11m-£12m? He's their best player by miles and they basically can't win without him. if a bid comes in and he wants away he'll throw the toys out of the pram and wigan will have little choice. They'll still have a choice with the fee, especially when they know the team who wants him just got £18m.

£18m should just about buy them Sessegnon and N'Zogbia, but not a striker as well.
-
Good? He's scored 32 goals for them in 58 games (a goal every 1.8 games), that's as good as it gets really. He's been on a run of poor form, but form is temporary. I don't think he's an amazing player of course, but I think he's just the perfect fit for Sunderland and he'd continue to score a load of goals for them.
-
Not IMO, a 26 year old striker who's scored around 50% of Sunderlands Premiership goals since they came back into the Premiership is worth more to them then £18m IMO.

Most of it will have to be spent to keep the loan players they already have.

2:1 to Newcastle

Yep just like I did when I scored with my back in a sunday league game

Two of their arguments from RTG on why Gyans goal wasn't lucky: So what we've found out from this wisdom is that luck isn't actually luck if: The move leading to it is a genuine attack (whatever that is) or If you could have scored in another way, IF you'd done better..
-
Had a look on RTG and some of them are arguing with a Toon fan that they weren't lucky to get a draw Apparently Nolans goal shouldn't have stood either.

I googled it and got this: http://fermentation.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c64d253ef0115700f848a970b-800wi

where ? Ashley's pocket. He wants the money back that he has loaned to the club - how else is he going to get it back? other than assumption and wild accusations has that ever been proven? He didn't give us it as a gift, I'm sure. And he can't just go "Ah, cheers. I'll have that." and withdraw it to from the bank. If it's 'debt' or 'loan' then there are regulations to follow about repayments and so on. He can't just take it. Maybe not, but there's nothing to stop him just using the money to keep the club running. It takes £20m of outside investment every year or we do a Portsmouth remember. It HAS taken around £20m a season, doesn't mean it will this season or the next and do a Portsmouth?, no I don't think so.

Why should we pay over the odds for players like Bothroyd and Larsson just because they think they're worth it? They aren't the kind of player that's worth going over our valuation for.

Is this like when Ben Arfa was signing for Bremen or is it definite?
