depends who we play. someone like carroll or edgar will keep their heads up and i also notice emre always tries till the end but others such as butt and owen do look even slower when we are losing. Don't think so tbh. 3 or 4-0 to the mancs no matter who plays imho. What the fuck do you know?, fuck off ok?

Also this time have Beye on the other side so Ronaldo can't switch sides to pick on Carr

FFS, surely by now we should have banned News of the World articles on this forum. It's the single wosrt peice of s*** rag in the world today. Nothing they ever print is worthy of the slightest recognision, never mind discussion.

Bollocks, everyone knows Bobby's time here wasn't perfect, nobody can ever do everything right. But the fact is we had our second most succesful spell in recent Newcastle history under him. What he's good at, no, what he's great at, is Football Management mate, all you're great at is pissing and moaning.. You've pointed out a few bad games or less then perfect decisions as if it proves something, how about remembering all the good and great games under Robson instead. Because there was far far more good then bad ones.

You've got to be taking the piss, surely?

The logo thing is totally irrelevant to anything, it's a f****** advert, just like all the other adverts all over the ground, why are you being so precious about the appearance of a banner covering what's little more than a piece of grey corrugated-iron? You realise that the "Northern Rock" on the shirts is an advert and not a statement of regional pride? The other things you mention are relatively small-fry, they're hardly going to get him well on his way to his third billion are they!?! He's not going to turn extra income down is he though, or were you expecting him to give you a free season ticket and that's why you're bitter? I notice you've failed to address the issue of him using his own money, not only to buy the club, but to clear the debts, would you care to explain why he'd do this? Nice to see you hold our ground with such high esteem. I would also be offended if we got an embarrassing sponsor on our shirts. I'm not bitter about the tickets going up, or his other little money spinners - although I am fuming about the 39th game - it's just that they seem a little unnecessary for someone who supposedly is doing this for the love of the game, and your point that they are worth a pittance to him only serves to emphasise this. I've already posted at great length - and tedium - about how he hasn't done us a favour by paying debts off. If the club wasn't in so much debt the Halls would have no doubt held out for much more, so it doesn't make a difference anyway. He's paid out for something that's worth what he paid for it. He's made a transaction, not a donation. From the tone of my posts, anyone reading would think that I was against Ashley, but I'm not. What I am against is the sycophantic attitude towards him, as if he's made a big sacrifice and done us a big favour, and somehow we owe him unquestioning loyalty. He's just some rich bloke whose taken on a big responsibility and we shouldn't let him get away with doing anything he likes. Nobody is saying or doing anything you've just said, so why are you arguing about it?... You're acting as if there are only two possibilities here, either Ashley wants to milk the club for all its worth or he loves Newcastle United with all his heart and has done since he was 6. All indi is suggesting is that Ashley probably bought Newcastle for reasons other then money, that doesn't necessarily mean he's doing it out of charity. There are plenty of reasons to do things other then monetary gain, especially when you're already a billionaire with far bigger and far easier investments at your finger tips.. So it's okay to exploit us, because he could have made more money exploiting someone else? I'd say whoring our club overseas and arbitrary price rises to tickets that are already overpriced are the actions of someone milking the club for all it's worth. What difference does it make if he's a c*** or a hobbyist c***? Man you've got one massive chip on your shoulder..

Shepherd and the Halls got their cut before that. Foreign investors coming out of every corner of the world, desperate to get a piece of the pie, season tickets and tv deals rising every year, but still, nobody makes any money out of it. Who's denying that there's money to be made? However, for a number of the investors that is not the primary motivation and I think Ashley falls into this category. By the way: 2006 (pg 13 (16)): "The board is not proposing a dividend at this time..." So if they weren't getting their cut that year, do you reckon they would be this year? There's also the fact that he could invest his money more effectively elsewhere, which you've conveniently ignored. You keep stating that as if it is a hard fact, when it's opinion. Erm, it is a fact. If I can get 6% on my meagre savings then he can get more on his HUUUGE savings. http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/ So the Halls were martyrs for sticking round then, instead of selling up and investing their money more 'effectively'. Does that website promise to quadruple your money in ten years? The Halls/Shepherd got Newcastle for very little and never spent any of there money on it, so of course they'd be happy to make a hundred million or so over a 15 year period. But even £150 million over 15 years would be an amazingly poor investment for Ashley (even if he then floated the club and made another few hundred million). He could make similar money over that kind of period just from the interest from the money he's initially spent on Newcastle, and with a whole lot less effort. Or he could have used the same money to make billions in the same time with the kind of investment indi mentioned.

Surely its better to have this thread come up from time to time then have the site shut down? Surely its better for the members to read the fuking rules. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=19161.0 TBF though, the admin only have themselves to blame, they edit out far too many posts when bannings should be handed out. My personal opinion on the matter; make examples of the thick shits who cannot or simply can't be arsed to read. The rules aren't clear, which is sort of the point, earth to Toons Taylor...
-
Nah its not simple until you make it simple What I suggested isn't a work around IMO, which is why I asked in the first place if the mods considered it a work around. Obviously when it comes to bans it doesn't matter wether I consider it a work around or not, its the mods opinions that count. At the end of the day be 'arsey' with the people who are trying to argue with you all the time, not with the people who are only asking you a simple question. Anyway, questions now answered, finally, so I'm happy.
-
James So posting four or more team names (even in a random order without home or away listed or dates) is against the rules, ok now I know, thanks for the info. I've got no problem with anything the mods decide, I only ask that if I ask a straight question I get an asnwer, even if its just yes or no. After all now that its been made totally clear nobody should ever have to ask the mods to clarify this rule again. If they do, just send them to this thread.
-
Sorry mate but you're paranoid if you think people here have been trying to start an argument with the mods. Quite a few people have posted genuine questions, some have been answered, while others have been met with flippant posts by people who seem to take questions as some form of attack. I honestly don't understand what you're problem is.
-
It can be made much clearer, I don't see the problem here. Nobody's asking you to explain Data Co's rules and people aren't getting on your backs or having at go at any of you (people have been having a go at Data Co if anyone at all). All that's being asked is for clarification on your own judgements of this rule. I can understand you might not want to sit there and write a massive post that described 100% what you consider to be against the rules, that's why some people are posting scenario's that only require a yes or no answer.
-
So does that mean that both admins in this thread consider what I suggested in my post to be a work around? In other words, posting two team names or more in random order in one post would be considered breaking the rules? Also would that change if 'home/away' wasn't listed? We might as well make this utterly clear, nobody wants to have to ban people over something so incredibly silly after all..

I see very little or no improvement on Allardyce reign. Still picking Smith for starters ...... It's not even been a month since Keegan came in. Players are obviously still used to Allardyce's football and players Keegan has arent even those he brought. WHAT DO YOU f****** EXPECT?! You mean like the Spurs players took a month to 'get used' to Ramos' football.. Bad memory? Spurs got 5 points from Ramos's first 5 games against the likes of Birmginham and Wigan.. It took him well over a month to sort them out. Even though he inherited a better side then ours from a manager who had already been trying to play good Football and had an easier start then Keegan's had.
-
NO!!, stop that talk right now No offence but you had to be hear and see every game over the last 8 months to know just how absolutely crazy what you're suggesting really is. If he'd actually managed to keep us up (because I really couldn't see him even managing to beat the likes of Fulham, Wigan and Sunderland at home with his tactics) giving him big money to spend would only have set us back even further. Which means next season would also be a right off.
-
You're allowed to say that if you want, but other people are also allowed to tell you that you're talking shit.
-
Just to qualify; I mean, yes, you could say in conversation: "I think we will win at Boro (away)." But that's it. Saying "I think we will win at Boro (away), then Sunderland (home) then Man Utd (away) then portsmouth (home)," is obviously not acceptable. What if those games aren't in order though? I mean surely for it to actually be considered to be anything like a fixture list it would have to be a list of team names in the order they'll be played with away or home next to each?.. I can never understand why people get in trouble for saying "we have these teams left [random list of teams in no particular order] and we need this many points, can we get enough points". That's when this fixture list clamp down gets really silly IMO.
-
I agree, appart from the stud part, which is a little bit creepy
-
The fucker got the ball three times right at the start of the game in the space of a minute and gave it away every time. His performance didn't get any better either, yet he played the full game.
-
Don't get carried away, he looked good because he was picking on Carr.
-
So much rage. Rage? I'm just telling you you're making a fool of yourself mate, just take the advice. Don't try to tell Newcastle fans what has or hasn't happened at Newcastle United over the last however many years, we've lived it.. Well, I was referring to your signature but never mind. I think there's a few of your supporters making bigger fools of themselves with their cries for KK's head. Still, that's an opinion and this is a forum. This is a forum, isn't it? Anyone calling for Keegan to go needs to be banned from conversing with other humans. I haven't noticed anyone seriously do that though.
-
So much rage. Rage? I'm just telling you that you sound stupid coming on here and telling Newcastle fans what has or hasn't happened at Newcastle United over the last however many years, we've lived it..
-
Bolton Zulu, you have no idea what you're talking about, stop embarrassing yourself ok.

I'm almost too pissed off to post. I'm behind Keegan but why did he play Carr at left back? Why leave our best defender on the bench as well in Faye? Those two decisions, along with refusing to change things during the game, has not only cost us 3 points, its cost us our pride. We've ended up with a humiliating score line.. I'd have expected this under Allardyce (well, this but with less Football played), but Kev has got to wake up quick and realise a few things, because we have no time for them to sink in slowly. He has to realise that Carr is a complete joke, he's got to realise that Taylor isn't a particularly good defender and that Smith should be used sparingly at best. What I'd really like to know is what the fuck does Enrique do when he isn't on the pitch to convince people not to play him?...
