Probably best time to take on the difficult teams, they won't be firing on all cylinders and we may need that slight Edge. Get signings in quick this month!
-
The problem with Manu fans is that they are like an aristocrátic family who has fallen on bad times... no matter what they do they are incapable of reaching the heights of their predecessors. 90 % are still unbearable c***s, that also Will never change. Froggy; good craic tbf, and for what he puts Up with...
-
I also don't think he is anywhere near a 60 million signing, compare him with Mbuemo eg.??? Nowhere near. Probably 40-45 range
-
Yep, reckon we might Get: 10 M Longstaff 15M Willock 10M Vlach 5M Targett Replace with a 40M midfielder
-
Can't see us getting both Pedro and Elanga. Pedro more flexible.
-
Aye... very wierd that wilson and ruddy are getting extended... kind of deja vu as per the Dummet and Ritchie saga
-
I would go for Guehi and if they knock us back just steal their replacement they have been after...Diomande
-
Pedro for 50/55 million would be a great buy. Plays anywhere along the front line and can also play n`10 if we want to go 442
-
He is 23, played for an inferior team all season and got a good assist and goal average, he knows Isak well and they are mates. Very fast, our front there Will be a nightmare for the opposition, no high lines against us! I am all for It if It is in the 40-45M range
-
has he lost his legs all of a sudden? He was the talk of italy at Napoli before he moved to bayern
-
Fikayo Tomori or Kim Min jae (both 28 yrs), both are available for 25-30 million. Guehi at 24 for 50 million. I would love to see Kim Min Jae at 25 million, very calm and collected defender, great in air and can pass well, only downside is moderate pace (same as Botman?). Would give us extra leeway to get both Trafford, RW and possibly a second striker

Why don´t we sell this lot to ourselves for a whopping 200 million, and then go on a proper 350 million transfer spree!!!
-
Lascelles and krafth are good back up if we have an injury crisis. Agree, Miley should be loaned out to a lower prem team or at worst top championship team. We need a couple of midfielders to cover for any sales (willock/longstaff) and also the positions we know need covering from a long time ago
-
doesn´t press and harry, not an eddie howe player tbh. Skills wise off the chart, but not enough to the defensive/covering part of his game
-
just read that Fikimori from Milan is up for sale, has pace and is a pretty good defender, not sure about how good with the ball at his feet...
-
Do you think it would be possible at any given time for Eddie to go for a real flair player who can unlock tight low-block defences (the teams we have struggled against)? A ben-arfa esque player, or a beardsley... Tyler dibling is the only player I can think of that would fit the mould???
-
Here are five alternative (and cheaper) wingers for the right hand side, all have pace, skill and are in the right age bracket: Karim Adeyemi (Borussia) Edon Zhegrova (Lille) Brennan Johnson (Spurs) Johan Bakayoko (PSV) Takefusa Kubo (Sociedad)

Problem with kudus for me is that he is not a consistently good player, he is a "one-in-three" player i.e. has a good game every three... We need better than that. Mbuemo was a connsistent performer at the highest level for a mid table team, pity he went for the cash instead of the team on an upward spiral! I am sure there are as good players out there for similar moolah, so let´s give Eddie and the team a chance.
-
For me it depends on the team we are up against; if it is a top team with good wide players I prefer Gordon because he generally works harder, helps the LB and presses more (last couple of games excluded!), whereas if it is a lower team I prefer Barnes because he is more productive in the final third.
-
We seem a lot more comfortable playing the 3-4-3 or 5-2-3 formation and get a lot more overlaps down the sides. Everton have a slowish defence and with Braithwaite out I would be up for keeping this same formation. If Trippier is back then a 4-3-3 is decent, but it´s the left side middle of the park that bothers me; I don´t like either of Willock or Miley in there, they don´t elevate our game in any way...
-
I am all in for Mbuemo, secures our right wing and it would lessen the need to buy a back-up striker. Unless of course we get a cut price star (likes of Delap). Would be happy with the Español keeper Garcia for 20-25 million quid, he has had an outstanding season and is quite a decent sized lad for crosses etc. If Guehi is available for under 50 million then it is a no brainer, if Parish starts to f*** us around, immediately loeave to go elswhere. That´s a spend of around 110-120M. Sales of Longstaff and perhaps willock (15-30M) could fund a replacement star midfielder... The rest; i would be happy with overseas stars yet to be proven...

Have botman or schar stepping up into midfield to create overloads, full out ATTACK!!
-
I like the 3-4-3 system. I would stick with it for this game: ------------------------Pope-------------------------- -----Schar-------Botman----------Burn-------------- Murph-----Bruno------Tonali-------------Livramento -----Gordon--------Isak-----------Barnes----------
-
I thought it was very wierd to see Bruno played as a deep lying midfielder, completely wasted his talents. he saves Manu every other game with his worldie passing, goals or free kicks, wierd to see him so far back
-
I quite like how we have been playing with the 3-4-3 or 5-4-1 systems. The fact that both Murph and Livra are overlapping a decent bit, means we are far more attacking and can afford to leave two/three at the back to mop things up.
