  1. Taylor seems to be a bit of an arrse doesn't he... Still, can't condone the mong for lashing out...
  2. should be forgotten about after this weekend. Just thinking about whether it could have any influence on his upcoming trial. The poster above about wages and ex girlfiend is spot on what the argument was over, just can't take the mick out of some A holes, no brains = no response = Violence...
  3. Carrol hardly comes across as a nice bloke, seems to get in all sorts of trouble outside the club... We do not need another Bowyer here so that the press can harangue us even more than normal. I'm sure Hughton will make the correct decision, the guy seems to be quite sensible, maybe we are blowing things out of proportion...these things do happen...
  4. For making a c*nt of oneself: I was at the Reading game on a rare day out with mates from Berwick (i live abroad), we all had tickets but in different parts of stadium. I was growing a beard then, quite big and was tanked up so no-one said anything when I blurted out my stupidness- When Pancrate was brought on I honestly thought it was Geremi, I couldn't see straight but was screamin for him "go on geremi lad...". Then "Geremi" pulled a top class goal out of the drawer and I went beserk...nobody said a word... Got out of the game with my mates and told em' about how amazin' Geremi was...what a transformation...totally humilliated and the joke for the night...Never mind Happens to us all (I hope!)
  5. What I am trying to say is that we have walked the league so far with a lot of luck as far as I am concerned, we have had many a game when we should have been beaten or at least drawn as we only played for spells. Our recent run of form excepted... We are all probably expecting (my deluded self included) that we will be playing around lower mid table but relatively safe from relegation spots, I can't see it: -Coloccini is playing well in the championship... -Taylor is prone to errors, simpson is not the answer nor raylor -Enrique is prem material. -Smith, Butt, Nolan, Guthrie, Pancrate are all championship standard -Jonas is King...Long live the King! -Caroll, Lovenkrands, Shola, Best....Any of em' guarantee 15 goals? even 10? As it says...Reality Check. P.S. Sorry if it's a bit obvious and we're all on a high after beating Barnsley 6-1
  6. Zoggy was pretty usefull against Liverpool last night, gave both full backs a bit of a pasting. Great centre midfielder wigan have (Moroccan bloke).
  7. Simon Bird mentioned Shearer's comment in the Mirror and he has a very valid point; "Wolves scored for fun in the championship last season (80) and have only managed 20 from 28 games this season". We have to be realistic, we have only come up against good opposition twice this season (Forest & WBA) and they both gave us a good lesson in how to play passing football. I have only been to 4 games at st james this season and have seen a few on live streaming but the one thing that sticks is the crap level of football played in the championship, carefull with what we pray for next season, mid table mediocrity would be fine for me.... We certainly won't be able to play well for 15 minutes and win a game on the back of that when we go up. First priority is a top striker and some central midfielders.
  8. Similarities are there to see between the two of them: Physical prescence Strong header Likes roughing opponents up Jailbait...

just watched it on u tube... THE BOY IS PURE CLASS!!! JUST WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE...CRACKIN' MOMENT!!!
  10. I agree with the majority; striker is number one priority, what we have at the mot isn't good enough for the prem. Number two are two central midfielders; one defensive with height (a la viera) and another with something creative. We also need cover desperately at left back and if possible a prem class right back as we dont have this. I would sell: Smith, Butt, Shola, Raylor and pancake...
  11. On a slight tangent but I thought I'd mention it: My first job after Uni was in a major credit ranking company who also collected debts for credit card sales. We were told unofficially to double check any Nigerian applications and pass them on to the harder debt collection dept. without any fuss... Who says institutional racism doesn't exist!! When I moved up the ladder at that company one of the major reasons for double checking was the quantity of fake passports or the lack of real data on the real ones, bit like article above... Might go to Nigeria for Hols and lose a few years, come back a new fella
  12. Quotes in the journal from his agent willie mackay. Would explain his performances at the start of the season... I am looking forward to his return, our centre midfield is very pedestrian at the moment.
  13. Agree, he is doing what is needed this window, can't argue with that... What the motives are...wel
  14. "Unwittingly all newcastle fans were lulled into a false sense of security and then !BANG! They were put up for sale again by a fat rich slob" Reuters 30/06/2010
  15. Hasn't even spent the same amount as he did on one shaky signing...Colo He is just maintaining his inestment making sure we go up and then back to usual limbo in the summer...mark my words
  16. Luque-thought he was decent for Depor... Bassong-shining light when everything was going wrong Enrique-at first he just didin't adapt to the pace Owen-always thought he would stick them in for us...shame
  17. If chris hughton goes for a sensible 451 approach I would definatey have Ranger up front instead of Carrol. his hold up play and awareness would be a huge plus. Caroll was teargas last night. Needs changed!
  18. If we buy this "Moses" bloke we'll walk the league... Just set a swarm of locusts on the opposition
  19. Chris hughton will not change his leaders in the middle i.e. Nolan & Smith Could be something like: Harper Tavernier Kadar Colo Enrique Routledge Smith Nolan Jonas Shola Lovens
  20. The defence is fine, we just need back up for when inevitably one or more of them get injured. If this happens we would be easy prey to premiership strikers. The midfield has one player: JONAS The rest is crap. Smith is playing well because this is his level, the prem isn't. If we bought a decent defensive midfielder who was tall aswell (headers to eradicate need for defenders to step up so much and lose position) it would help the team a lot. A right sided JONAS would be nice. Strikers: None of our lot are good enough for the prem, simple as... Buy one good striker and hope that Lovens/Carrol/Ranger step up a grade.... In resumen: Defensive cover + Defensive midfielder + Top Striker (Right sided creative midfielder if Fat boy is feeling generous).
  21. opposite to a "---- stream" need to use both brain cells in unison

Holds the ball up well Passes well runs rings round defenders works hard when motivated 50/50 that his final ball is good **Contribute a hell of a lot to the team, without him we are much worse. Has his minuses tho**
