If we were able to compete for the Berbatov's he would be an excellent substitution for the aging aussie, all the attributes to play the foil for owen and martins... Sweet dreams!!
-
solid, uncomprimising and very consistent...excellent start if we were to sign him!!

Prefer chelsea to win it than Man utd, can't stand Ferguson and his hypocritical stances, one week critising back chat and insults to refs, next week giving out... can't stand the red nosed tw*t!!
-
Quite funny though!! Did he wave?

P.S. I've got two kids and still have a giggle when I see (other people's kids) them falling head first onto spiked railings and the likes...

Can Charva's be loveable? Suppose that' s what mums are for... String 'em up!!! Only joking... Horsewhipped to within an inch of his life would make up for the accidental racism remark

Anymore news on the Kuyt deal? Been informed that roeder's been to see him twice over the last two weeks

Bit off thread but what's wrong with Faye???

I would replace without doubt; Viduka, Taylor, Geremi Bring in somebody younger to pressurise Butt and we could maybe get another season like this one out of him, wouldn't get rid just crank up the pressure for firs team places. If we get rid of Zog we need a new left wing and cover for left back, duff will do for second place cover. Could do with some pace for the right wing and a pacy targetman do replace viduka. If my wishes came true (not too unrealistic ones) we'd have this close season: OUT: Carr, Ameobi, Ramage, Zoggy (unless radical change in attitude) IN: Ben Haim, Huntelaar, lennon, bridge, Sidwell, Deco (50 million spend) some youngsters to fill out squad...

"our Marcelino" is a football commentator on spanish telly or radio, can'r remember which at mo... Would have any of: Silva, Villa, Vidic, Vicente, Albelda or Angulo (too old maybee?)

I would also like enrique to flourish with more games under his belt. i was sceptical at first because he seemed a bit slow off the mark and was making too many mistakes but the difference a bit of confidence has made is fantastic. I think someone to cover both centre back and left back would be good for us and Enrique (extra impetus from competition), decent premier league player would do. Still think that a world class centre back is needed, creative midfielder, left winger (bye bye charlie) and a striker to replace Viduka (but with a tad more pace?). Those are my predictions for Keegans signings (helps when we know he wants to sign Luka/Henry & co.)this summer

I reckon we should go with this today: ----------Harper---------- Beye--Taylor--Faye--Henry Geremi--Butt--Barton Owen ------Vids-------Martins---- Buzza for manager?
-
Wanted too much time on the ball and got caught out accordingly! You could see he was talented but just wasn't right for the pace of the english game...
-
Cool as you like! Wouldn't mind hearin' the whole thing at SJP!!!!
-
You have to admit...Lennon is one of those footballers who doesn't get any sympathy from anyone when he get's kicked full on in the face. Even the authorities thought "He had it comin' , the ginger cuunt" before filing another case into the "fouls on rusty barstards" cupboard...
-
do you think he'll get a pre-season? I would go for a quick sale to Fenerbache or someone, he hasn't had a run of more than 3-4 games without pulling something!
-
Metzelder has been injured for a while at Real madrid, might be another woodgate?
-
Just the other day, walcott's goal was fantastic TBH!!
-
He's off in the summer.... Keegan mentioned him a couple of times when he arrived but now that he's sussed him out looks like there's no place for him???
-
An easy mistake to be made if you ask me; milk white, round head just where the ball was last spotted... could've happened to anyone!
-
Tino's second against Barca, leapt about 50ft in the air to blast it into the back of the net aginst the big gorilla Nadal!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Keane's too emotional to be "hard" (good in a fight?), the people with no fear and controlled aggression normally come out on top, gives clarity of thought and allows concentration of beating your apponent, bit of natural ability doesn't go amiss either...
-
I'd quite like to see Keane get "Bummed in the face"
-
Players playing out of position and a clear mandate of defence at whatever costs; even though we had a defence playing like a bunch of one legged, blind, retired rugby players...
-
We would ideally sign somebody quite tall... at the moment we're a team of midgets and someone who could actually challenge for some of the high balls in midfield would be a facet to consider whilst choosing a new "defensive" (but still capable of attacking) midfielder!
