I don't agree with you on this HTT, when you keep your lines as "rigid" is when you are further up the field and playing offside trap or your midfield is further away from you. Yesterday, especially in the first half, we were very well organised and our midfield line held it's position very close to the defence which reduced space for chelski to manouver in, if you leave a runner to "come to you" when close to the area you are inviting a shot, which results far too often in a goal, one of the centre backs has to step up, not necessarily lunge in but to usher him away or block his path (hopefully outside the box- for sake of penalties). This was what they did yesterday and TBH both centre backs had a great game, I personally think chelsea's second goal was pure class especially the inch perfect pass from lampard to set it up...

Martins scared the shiit out of them but was faced with no options, another defender or turning back on himself to find two players on him. Worked very hard backtracking aswell. Good team instruction to get the diagonal ball down the wing on the break for him at all costs!!Positive game from him.

Please tell me what Taylor did wrong? I saw him winning most of his headers, playing it safe and not risking anything and getting in some decent tackles. What more do people want? Obviously couldn't see his positioning (watched it on telly...) but him and faye kept anelka and dogboy in check quite well...

Taylor played well today, i honestly thought barton was quite sloppy today. Was impressed by chelsea they dominated most of the game but we gave them a really good go in the first half, just seemed to run out of steam in the second half, their subs also made a big difference whereas ours ....errr! Thought viduka was really good aswell, oba great just needs to lift his head now and again, owen was unlucky but worked his skids off! Geremi is/was very slow, butt was brilliant covering a lot of ground and dictated our game today. Defense played well all in all, bad marking from butt and a classy chelsea goal TBH.

Favourite one is still the keepie ups for the brasil team...

I think the Smith for Cuellar is the better of the two deals... The race card has been used to shift blame from Evra/Man utd onto Chelsea.
