  1. Good sign Nicks getting into these positions despite not scoring.
  2. Randomly he’s new YouTube channel came up in my feed a few weeks back. Randomly watched a day in the life video, comes across pretty sound.
  3. Sky sports not even showing the replay of the suspected city handball.

Neves hasn’t been playing at an elite level for two years now, does he still have it?

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

@Myleftboot We had money for a Wilson replacement and never expected to lose Isak so his fee covered two strikers without touching the Wilson replacement money as far as I can see. Maybe it’s not as simple so someone more aware of our finances can comment.
  6. Ramsdale Livramento Thiaw Botman Hall Tonali Guimaraes Miley Woltemade Ramsey Wissa Gone for the seasonal Christmas tree formation. Tino and Hall providing width, Tonali and Miley dropping back when they do to cover.
  7. That’s what the extra budget he have over these should cover. Agree the transfer window was poor. Thiaw the best signing for me, Woltemade has huge potential but nothing guaranteed. Elanga’s shown one good half against Barca and I don’t see anything more than an elite athlete with no real skill. Whoever signed off on that deal needs reprimanding as it looks a waste of £55m.

    Nick Pope

Think Ramsdales made legit better saves when he’s played.
  9. He needs to more ruthless with selections. No to Burn at LB (CB is fine), Ramsdale ahead of Pope, Kraft solid if unspectacular ahead of Trippier who keeps giving the ball away until Tino is back, Joelinton on the bench Miley or Ramsey ahead of him. Credit goes so far and I hope he snaps out if it but ultimately the best interests of the club comes ahead of loyalty to any individual.
  10. We can bitch all day about cartel clubs but our budget far exceeds the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford et al, teams we should be beating.
  11. We’ve churned out results in Howes time without playing brilliant football most of the time except for few occasions e.g PSG at home, Cup final win. Now he can’t get his team to get results it shows up the team deficiencies a lot, poor passing and ball retention especially under pressure. What’s surprising is that we’re soft in the tackles, pressurising teams and winning 50/50 duels something we were good at a couple of season back. Something that I notice is when the ball is being ping ponged about in the air other teams can get it under control as it drops and pass to a team mate which our lot can’t seem to.
  12. Only got himself to blame , unlike a a couple of seasons back when we had an injury crises he actually has a squad this time.
