  1. Statement up on official site http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1384983,00.html
  2. Fuck sake I was about to let myself leave the state of apathy I have been in since Souness took over and actually start to look forward to matches each week. Thanks for the 3 weeks of feeling good about football.
  3. Apart from the fuckups we know about (1.05am etc) it's been pretty good in terms of capacity since they changed tbf. Whats been the most online today ?
  4. I was about to say that. Owen has played 1 lot of 90mins in how many months ? This isn`t a friendly either is it?
  5. Good post, although Ameobi plays like that when he's fully fit. True, he did really wind me up with his whole lack of urgency. He was first to lazily give the ball away after it took us the first 20mins to get it back. Then after that we were screwed for another 10mins without the ball.
  6. Was thinking this myself. Even more ironic when you get the really OTT fans that actually get irate and shout threatening abuse etc. There's a huge difference between having a fight and laying into someone when he's unconscious! That makes him scum of the earth and I'll never support him! My main point was About the people booing. Were there seriously that many people in a North London based crowd ( Lived there for 2yrs ) that have done no wrong in there life ? I`m not a hypocrite is basically what i`m saying. I don`t agree with violence, I hate it but I have had fights, I have stolen before ( remember even taking a stapler from work as an example is stealing ) I smoke weed which feeds organised crime ( these criminals do far worse to others ) I buy clothes that are made in sweat shops by small children that are treated like shit in foreign countries. If you sit and think about theres lots more examples. I`m not saying what he did was right but booing him is only going to effect one thing, his performance in a Black and White shirt. Secondly I wouldn`t have been booing because im not whiter than white myself.
  7. I sat there wondering how many of the people booing were two faced twats. Are we to believe that all those booing have never had a fight or two before or never done anything against the law more than once ? I never knew soo many born again Christians were into football these days, oh wait Christians believe in forgiveness, so just a bunch of twats booing then.
  8. Some peoples ratings on here and comments ? Heres what I think, Owen`s first 90 mins. Ameobi just failed a medical. Colocini was not better than Taylor but some people think he was because he is a new signing. Beye and Butt looked like 2 over 30`s that had played too much football this week. Zoggy did exactly what he always has done, ran into a wall of players or massively over kicked the ball. Enrique still too slow for a young left back. Thats the Emirates and Old Trafford out the way, roll on the rest of the season.
  9. He did it to see if he could get a longer thread on here than Barton would get for coming back for 2mins.
  10. Havn`t read the whole 34 pages, maybe he knows of someone coming in that will be a threat to his playing position, only thing i think of.

I actually believe Kane. The 4-5 times I`ve been to a game ( I live down south ) I`ve been shocked by racist comments being used towards anyone playing shite that isn`t white. Hav`nt heard it used down south at loads of other games. I experienced the same sort of thing towards Kerion and Titus, all the abuse and then when they do something good they ain`t black cunts for the next 5 mins. Next miss placed pass they are again. It does sound like the odd individual its not a mass thing. Might even be the same man Kane had trouble with.
  12. I know a bit of how the press works from a few close calls I had with them when I was younger. I bet Tandy recieved a phone call asking weather he considered Sueing Barton. Tandy probably said no and the press offered him £200 to do it regardless of it having any chance of actually working or not. Its not about the sueing its about a page filled with someone topical at the time.

  14. I said it was all agreed with Ipswich ( personal terms) ages ago apart NUFC asking too much for him. So maybe they have dropped the price now.
  15. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_3940092,00.html Not sure if this is anywhere else Toulouse defender Herita Ilunga could leave the club after being linked with a move to Newcastle United. Ilunga only moved to Toulouse from St Etienne last summer, but is expected to be a back-up player this season. Reports have linked the full-back with a £2million switch to St James' Park, as Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan looks for new signings. The 26-year-old admits that, at this stage of his career, he would not be happy to only be a substitute at Toulouse. Annoying "I do not exclude leaving," Ilunga told La Depeche du Midi. "If I do not play, at my age, that becomes annoying for the progression of my career." Toulouse coach Alain Casanova was non-committal on whether he would be prepared to allow Ilunga to leave the club. Casanova said: "He has said things, but they are his feelings at the beginning of the season. "It is a long season. Let's see how things move during August."
  16. He is injured again...Just a bit from my local paper below. Sadly Wright won't be pitting his wits against friend Kieron Dyer who had hoped to make his comeback in this game but is injured once more.
  17. I think its just another retarded southern reporter to be honest, you think Deryck s weird I think the whole sentance is wrong, how do you shouter ? "Deryck initially shouter"

I disagree, he is worse than nothing, nothing can`t give the ball away and give away needless freekicks. Also we don`t have to pay nothing.
  21. http://www.eveningstar.co.uk/content/eveningstar/news/story.aspx?brand=ESTOnline&category=News&tBrand=ESTOnline&tCategory=News&itemid=IPED05%20Aug%202008%2000%3A35%3A24%3A510 A NOTORIOUS former Norwich City footballer is being investigated today after he allegedly abused a fan in the family enclosure at Portman Road last night. It is alleged that as West Ham player Craig Bellamy, 29, walked towards the tunnel, after pulling up with an injury, he swore at a fan and made reference to Ipswich prostitutes. He was restrained and pulled away by a member of staff from West Ham during the pre-season friendly with Ipswich Town. Lowestoft resident Deryck Ayers, who was at the game with his 6-year-old daughter Imogen, claims it him who Bellamy was swearing at. Deryck initially shouter to Craig as he was passing. l/r Imogen and her dad Deryck Ayers He said: “With him being an ex-Norwich player I shouted 'see you later Bellamy' and he just turned around and swore at me and he said something about prostitutes in Ipswich. “He was not very nice. I was shocked because I had my daughter there and there were other kids around in the same area.” Stowmarket resident Kyle Relf-Stables, 14, also heard the abuse. “I heard him swear and say something about Ipswich prostitutes. I think that it was atrocious because young kids where there, he said it in front of the family stand.” Kyle's mum, Michelle, who also had her 10-year-old son at the game, added: “I was just absolutely gobsmacked, there is no need to behave like that. We pay lots of money to come to these games and I do not expect my son's to hear words like that. I will take it up with the football club.” Bellamy heads for the tunnel Pc Mark Norman, Suffolk police's football intelligence officer, said: “Both Ipswich Town and West Ham are aware of an alleged incident that is being investigated internally. If a criminal offence is identified then we will take things further.” Terry Baxter, director of communications at Ipswich Town, added: “We are aware of an alleged incident involving Craig Bellamy and we will be giving every assistance required by Suffolk police in their investigations of the matter.” A West Ham United spokesman said: “We will look into the facts of what happened. “I haven't had a chance to speak to Craig myself. I was made aware of it after the game as I was in the players tunnel. An official from Ipswich made me aware something had happened. We take such allegations seriously. “I haven't spoken to anyone to find out what was allegedly said.” The West Ham player made 84 appearances for Norwich City between 1997 and 2000, scoring 32 goals. Last night's pre-season friendly finished Ipswich Town 3 West Ham 5. Still miss him as a player
  22. No offence mate but Edgar was dreadful last night. Couldn't do anything right, his passing was awful and he just looked lost for most of the game. To be honest from that display I'd rather have Ramage there. Edgar had 2 crosses that were better than anything Milner managed. I thought he had an ok game.
  23. I`d rather have a pre season like this than the one last year. Under BSA all we had was a good pre season and first game, at least my expectations are low enough now to not bother about what happens this season.
