The optimist in me sees that as positive news. Rafa has gone to Ashley and asked for a budget to start transfer deals on time for once. So Ashley has said you can have 80-100 mill and added it to the asking price so this time it doesn`t slow transfers down. That way if the club sale starts negotiations during transfers any purchases are included.

The Club valuation is not helped by the crazy player prices. Not saying we would sell them but I wonder how much Lascelles,Merino, Murphy and Atsu would be worth in the summer or the year after if they progress. Surely the longer the deal takes the value can only go up. Even the crapper players value could have gone up for the first time ever.

I had us in 18th for most of the season until the last few weeks, finish 16th on 33 points with WBA, Swansea and Southampton going down. I even threw in a few suprise results from other teams beating top teams.
