Im not sure that I agree with you on this one. Lloyd Kelly was not good enough for us, and even though had a lot of grief he still get selected for Juventus, also Smalling to Roma. Trevor Francis back in the day for Sampdoria, helping them lift their first coppa Italia. If you also take one of mye favorit players Shevchenko he failed massivly for Chelsea, but was a world-class player in Serie-A and maybe the best in the world at that time. You can go back and forward like this.. You have players like Lineker who I think would have suited Serie-A back in the day, but I cant think of many defenders back then since it was more kick and run. I do think it comes down to the style, the type of player and where they are in their career. There are not many english player in genereal going abroad and also one of the main problems of the last 15 years is that the PL players have become to expensive for Serie A(or other leagues), so you dont get many english players over there.

Totally agree with you. I would go longer and have automated offsides like the goal line technology. Anyway you cant have people in the VAR room checking offsides with a ruler. Also VAR needs to be black and white, clear and obvious needs to go. Ex. Play on because of what might be a foul, the ref saw it but didnt blow and left it to VAR, VAR will not intervene because refere saw it.

Think the biggest problem(offensiv) is the players around him doesnt know when or where the ball is comming from him. Will he do the extra drible, will he shoot, will he pass short or hit it in early. I dont see him click with any of the other players in particular., no 1 to 1 etc. Murphy is really good at hitting it in early, very easy to attack for the other players.

Do this ref have an eye ilness? He should have his eyes checked. Seriously concerned for him..

Totally agree. Its also incredible how he hits those long passes, a normall player after hitting it long will normally slow down or stop until the ball reach its player, Tonali he keps sprinting like its no effort for him. And many times he is the one there to receive the short pass straight after he hit the long ball. I would love to see him take on one or two players and have a go, or try more long range shots. The only thing his missing to his game are more goals.
