  1. And Hendrie said Kai Havertz wasnt that type of player, thats why he didnt get the red card...
  2. That was down to the VAR room… if you dont think there are doping, match fixing, betting on matches and dodgy stuff happening in the premier league with all the corrupt owners, and all the money and fame there is in premier league football… then sure come on man..
  3. Hope FA or police check the refs lawn, bank account, or whatever of new things the ref has got lately. He must have been paid off, or he needs glasses

That run and block of the man utd player on Willocks goal was genius.
  6. 2-2 is a fair result, but the way we defended and conceeding both goals was worring.
  7. We are talking about southgate, so he might be closer to England now…
  8. Would have loved if we put a 15-16 year old striker/winger on the bench instead of putting 2 goalkeepers. For a youngster that would mean the world just to sit on the bench, and might boost/motivate to work harder to become a first team player..
  9. Are our youngster so shit that we rather pick 2 goalkeepers on the bench? Cant be a moral boost for them… I can understand all the defenders since some of them can play in midfield..

They did rob us for £40M at the time. The player we bought was not worth £40M at the time, im not sure he would have been a starter in this Everton side this season if he stayed on. What Eddie Howe has done with him is simply a miracle! He keep getting better by the game, his movement, pressing and every other aspect of his game has really improved!
  11. Looks like the palace players has gotten into Longstaffs head.
  12. I thought Tonali was more of a deep lying midfield playmaker, but for us he is playing offensive left midfielder. When we signed him I thought it was to push Bruno up more advanced or rest Bruno some games.

Its like people say above. Even if you have played on the highest level of football it doesnt mean you know much about football. Imo you dont even have to have played football on elite level, as long as you are entertaining and know your shit. I rather listen to that guy than an ex pro who is utter crap. Its like we say about young players. if you are good enough you are old enough, same goes for pundits for me, if they are good enough it doesnt matter which sex you are.

Eddie Howe didnt look to happy with the last one he passed out of the field.
  15. for Wilsons standards this wasnt his best game, so glad he got a goal.

They will say he got one last week, only one pen pr week.
  17. You forgot Joe Kinnear, think he was the most embarrasing ever. I totally agree with you about Eddie Howe.
  18. Who was worse, him or John Carver?
  19. Thats true, there where a lot of champions untill 2010ish. But still the group of 2005 was the last world class team that looked unbeatable, the tactics, the play everything was just right at the time and even when they won the final in 2007 they didnt look as good as in 2005. Baresi was a true legend, the 88-90s was a group of ubeliavable players. But still Van Basten got me on the edge of the seat, think Sacchi said it best: "No other forward has worked as hard for the team as Marco did at Milan. Above all, however, I remember him for his elegance, his grace and his incredible ability."
  20. Think the final killed Shevchenko, especially missing that penalty. That 2005 group of players was very good, and looked unbeatable untill that fiasko in the final. My favourite player growing up was Van Basten, what a player!

6 games in to the season + another 16 from last season. So when are we allowed to have an opinion to this lad? I dont think he is or see himself as a winger, according to some articles in the summer he believes his best position is central striker. I think his postional play, pressing and tackling is his weakest strengths, he is often in no mans lands and only jogs back instead of helping his team mates out defensivly. Tonali covered his postion most of the game yesterday, something I think he was having an argument of with some of the players and Howe at some point. I do think this is one of the reasons why our midfielders seem so unbalanced this season, and you can see teams are taking advantage of this side. Attacking I dont think he offers more than Almiron tbh. Also should be noted that it looks like a red card waiting for him for loosing his head and could/should have had a couple all ready. Havent seen enough of Barnes to know if he could balance the midfield more, so atm I hope Big Joe will come back as strong as he was last season. Gordon is still young so still have faith in him, but we or mainly himself needs to find out his best position in the team.
  22. Howe needs to bring the jou back in the team again, and play with more freedome, atm we look shit scared of doing mistakes. We look afraid to try passes and more often than not we play the safe pass instead of threading it through. Hope we get it sorted out soon.
