  1. CHECK THE AVATAR. Also, Barton has played absolutely fantastic.
  2. Just gets worse and worse for (some) Spurs fans: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/inter-milan-ticketing-issue-301010.html (My mate who supports Spurs got one of these tickets)
  3. Game was over tbh. Spurs played as though they were facing an abusive parent from their past in the second half. Totally bottled it second half - disappointing, because though I don't like them, they have come such a long way and could have really troubled a (relatively) ordinary Man Utd side.
  4. This second half is end to end! Spurs are passing it left to right to left to right like you wouldn't believe.
  5. Asking Robbie Keane to get the better of Ferdinand and Vidic in the air doesn't seem like an especially smart gameplan.
  6. Did you really try and go for a second, or were you comfortable to let them continuing to park the bus after you went ahead?
  7. Dempsey's form is shit hot right now. Great player.

    Sunderland...

I don't know, that rather implies Newcastle is a hellhole tbh
  9. Don't know why, but that made me laugh. God-knows-how-much a week and he's still subject to the nagging etc

    De Jong

Is Karl Henry back for this one?
  11. Just got back. Arsenal were very confident on the ball from the off, but as our nerves eased we really came into the match before the unfortunate own goal. Arsenal dived a lot and the referee was a moron. Impressed with the half-time penalties too. My record of never seeing Newcastle actually score lives on. Fun day out mind you.
  12. I've got 13 hours of travel so I'm very enthusiastic about it
  13. Speaking to some Arsenal fans, they're going to use this game to bring back some of their players returning from injury who need match fitness like Walcott, Fabregas and Bendtner. I really don't see the harm of playing a full-strength team - they need to practice playing well at home. If injuries are going to happen this season, they'll happen - no sense wrapping players up in cotton wool. It's not like we're playing five games a week, and it's not exactly Stoke/Wolves we're facing here either. Just my two cents.
  14. It's so rare that I want a Liverpool win, but that's what Allardyce has driven me to... like resorting to brokering a deal with The Joker to combat Batman (read: Fatman).
