I mean, it's funny, but Liverpool got screwed like [/iMO]
-
"Sevilla, once again, Kings of Europe....a"
-
Liverpool the better side? Clearly the other way round for me looking at this Liverpool are desperate and their brains have been frazzled from kick off this second half. IMO.
-
Sevilla clearly have demonstrated all the savoir faire that Liverpool lack. Liverpool are the better side, but they're mental, didn't know how to manage the game and can't defend.
-
Forget the offside stuff, the first half there was at least one stonewall penalty that you could not miss unless you are a Europa referee
-
Bit of a fucking hammerblow to Liverpool this. No trophies, two lost finals in one season, no CL - psychologically crippling. Shit defence is shit, I guess. ¯\_("/)_/¯
-
I always think the referees in this country are the pits until I watch the Europa
-
Pretty annoying. Had every possible score outcome with Sturridge first goalscorer - except any that involves Sevilla scoring three or more. Only a pound on each but still
-
Was thinking just that too.
-
The referee is a massive Sevilla fan.
-
He's a bit dicky, but Sturridge is quality like.
-
..and then mugs off his detractors.
-
How dare he be completely overlooked Surely the likes of Sissoko and Wijnaldum who are both incredibly talented and picked week in, week out but just can't be arsed, deserve your hatred more!? Whoosh
-
Voted for Saivet. He's been completely fucking anonymous in our fight to stave off relegation.

I don't hate the squad, mainly as I don't care that much, but if I were more invested in the England set-up I'd be pissed off because lessons haven't been learnt and this squad selection is symptomatic of bigger problems, where reputation continues to trump merit. Carroll should be there ahead of Rooney. Not because Carroll is incredible, but because he provides a genuine alternative threat off the bench than what should be England's starting options (ie. Kane and Vardy). He's also in a bit of form which counts for a lot. Defoe should be in ahead of Rashford, but he doesn't play for Man Utd. Antonio I think should be in the squad because he deserves it based on his play, yes. Rooney is 100% shit now. It's incontrovertible at this point to anyone with eyes which aren't obscured by pride, bias or blind loyalty. The man can't run. His record in qualifying is irrelevant. Those fuckers got knocked out for a reason. Talking about his England form is deliberately misleading. Crouch has 22 in his last 42 internationally, but I wouldn't put him in the squad if he came out of international retirement. If England have aspirations to progress beyond qualification for the tournament proper, they should play their best hand. Spoiler: They won't.
-
All well and good if he wasn't guaranteed a starting spot at the expense of someone better just by virtue of being there.
-
Same old shit Rooney and Rashford ffs. Roll on WC 2018.
-
I just imagine it's like on Monsters Inc. and the coppers run around saying "WE'VE GOT A TWENTY THREE NINETEEN!!" And then the bomb squad come and put that bowl over it, bolt it down, blow it up and then sweep up the mess. Lethal Weapon for me, like. Bathtub it.

Had this song in my head since Sunday.

Whip around or not, what a ridiculous waste of money.
