Heads dropping before we've even conceded

Darlow. Player of the season, like.
-
Jeez. They are doing the same thing over and over again. Its not like it's Arjen Robben either. Ffs.

Movement in the final third is unprofessionally bad.

Put Sissoko at LB man.

Bluffed well for four minutes, before four year's of frail confidence came flooding back into their minds and play.

Gullit wants a payday the Aston Villa job

The club would sign Gareth Barry and be greeted with full scale kowtows.

Not sure why the conversation moved to Vardy or Kane - which ought to be a purely academic issue - they should both start ahead of Rooney up front. If Rooney starts it should be in midfield but he doesn't deserve to based on merit.
-
Kane isn't a gamble, and nobody has advocated leaving him out anyway. Kane has to start, no question. Aye. Gamble was definitely the wrong word. I think I meant to say Roy should have the conviction to leave Rooney out of any starting line up. Thing is, Roy knows that if we fail at the Euros he won't be in charge come the next World Cup. He'll pick his best team. No chance. He'll pick and start Rooney. It's the new Gerrard and Lampard. The zillionth time's the charm...

Is there any way this works out for Villa, long term? Will Lerner sell up if you get relegated enough?
-
Yeah, with Kaka. As a spectator, it's somewhat amusing by virtue of being ridiculous. When you're playing one of those guys, they're an insult to weasels and deserve well-angled studs for maximum damage.

Was thinking about this earlier today, our team is horrendous. We've basically been playing four or five attacking-minded midfielders (attacking in theory, anyway) and yielded previous few goals to show for it. I think we should stick a Tiote or a Saviet (leave it to Rafa's judgement to decide who the main man should be) back in the mix to at least give us better balance in the side, because there is definitely no correlation between the number of attack-minded midfielders we field and our attacking potency. On that basis I'd go with the following as the front 6: Sissoko Tiote Shelvey Perez Wijnaldum Mitrovic

'kin hell man

Their club is hoop. It's as immutable as the laws of physics.
-
 Full-time, Mitro still trying to get on. Hilarious ending. Draw more from luck than design. Primarily feel relief, the progress is understandably incremental. Hated Mitro's guts before that last 15 minutes. Deprived Sunderland of their easy points at least. Colback - 0 Wijnaldum - anonymous coward bar the assist. Twat. Benitez - please bring back the real Tiote. Respect Benitez tremendously for actually having the nous to hook Colback before he did further damage. Easy for us fans who hate him, but every manager we seem to have had since Hughton would have left him on. More defensive discipline required and shooting practice. A lot of shooting practice. And a brain transplant for Townsend. Now we're free of him for two games Finally, sunderland... what an utterly hopeless club. Cheating, Cattermole-playing, paedo-harbouring, time-wasting prats. They could win 100 games in a row, and still be NUFC's lesser - even with Ashley.

That shot damn near left the ground!
-
I'm still fucking pissed at the pair of them.

Been the best player second half, but shite at shooting with the rest.
