Not if the boots are at the top of a really steep hill

Was waiting for an Ireland/scotland-may-also-qualify-therefore-not-a-big-deal-and-tournament-has-been-expanded punchline that never came.

    No German, Italy, Spain, France...
  4. I'm going to Clane near Naas for a family wedding soon. Any good?

Rooney has been cack in tournaments. Decent enough minnow slayer in qualifiers etc in an era where he's had little competition and been able to keep his place in the side irrespective of how toss his form has been.
  6. The inter-divisional loaning bothers me the most.
  7. Went for Elliot but Williamson is an interesting one. I reckon he'll do a Stephen Carr one day and go back to Portsmouth (and play, wey!) and win the League Cup one day.
  8. Bastards. Fuming on your behalf. I wouldn't even be good-humoured about that tbh, I'd just chuck it in the bin and plug my earphones in for the rest of the day. Someone got me a 30th birthday card with that prick on the front of it like. Horrific that... you're so old.

  10. Italy, Wales and Belgium treble came in. Not great odds, but win's a win after an iffy start to the season.
  11. At least you dominated the game though, right? Exactly. We have De Gea in nets and he saves both of their shots that lead to goals. Full strength Man Utd wins this league by 9 points. You're really committing to this act, man It's been weeks now and you're still really invested in this Man Utd fan character that believes Man Utd aren't still dogplop
  12. Jay Bothroyd and others have gotten caps in recent years, it's not that bad. I suppose we could be saying the same about Vardy in two years though. No worse than the days of Crouch etc. I'd take a Sterling-Rooney-Walcott front three, over Crouch-Defore any day of the week.

You've never seen Mike and Borini in the same room?
  16. Ayoze is a pleasure to watch and I wouldn't want to see him leave. I'm not emotionally invested though so wouldn't be crestfallen. From the heirachy point of view to get 10m+ for a player who isn't a first XI player would represent brilliant business.

    Steve McClaren

Needs to shave that island of hair that sits apart from the rest of his mop.
  18. Bournemouth fans getting cocky on Twitter saying Austin is going there and they are now a bigger club than us. Right. I loathe the fans of newly promoted clubs. They're always like this, full of themselves now they're in the top flight. Norwich fans are awful for this. Every time they get promoted. Which is a sentence which really says it all about them. Not sure about judging a fanbase off a few morons on Twitter, but couldn't agree more re: Norwich. Heads in the clouds.
  19. Don't think he did it to make himself look good but I'm certain Ferguson knew Moyes was inheriting a turd of a squad with which Ferguson had admirably been able to overachieve with- in no small part due to the fear factor and cowardice of the rest of the league.
  20. Don't like Celtic but fair play

Those are going to be some awkward signing photos and quotes. Him crying and saying how happy he is to be there
