  1. Just saw this (ie. thread title). Good news/bad news. If PSG have really tabled an offer, it's good we've rejected it, but with their deep pockets it's all but a formality if they want him given our owners/ambition. Makes little difference seeing as our season is effectively a floating turd at this point and our foreseeable future the same. Maybe more money might nudge Ashley towards the door marginally faster.
  2. Smart team selection IMHO if somewhat enforced. With his management should be alright anyway.
  3. Ah well. Only a fiver lost chaps. Good luck Mackems

  5. Citeh or Man City. 'City' not for me.
  6. Can hear the "famous 3-2" commentary already.
  7. No chance, he's far too devious to not know what he and Mike are achieving together.

    Papiss Cissé

Bellamy used to strike into the shins of the defender/goalie quite frequently when he first came, but was still brilliant. He improved substantially in his final ball and shooting while he was here. Fucking class player. Remember when he came back from injury (I think) with awful-looking long hair and his finishing was superb. Underrated player.
  9. Mistakes corrected, will wash through in the next update.
  10. Mata's set pieces will be a big boon for Man Utd.
  11. Still think they're being really inefficient about this. Should just buy and leaseback the Soton squad. Not like any regulatory body will step in at any point.

Agreed. But I quite like staying in cup competitions if only to keep the season alive past the Christmas fixtures. Keeping the fixture list clear so we can battle for 8th just doesn't do it for me. After the event, if you don't win - I agree, it's not much to brag about, but while you're still in it/have a chance, even if it's remote - it's exciting. We haven't had that since the second leg vs Benfica 9 months ago. Won't for a while, very envious.
  13. Excellent little microcosm of the thread, this page
  14. Has he ever scored one of those where he steps inside and tries to find the far corner? If I visualise him shooting, it's always with the side of his foot or a flicked effort
  15. They need to plug about four holes IMO - CB, CM, Winger & CF. Other places need work too, but those are the key areas to me.
  16. The penalty shootout must have brought home some harsh truths to Man Utd fans. Mortifying for them. Desperately need Rooney/RvP back to carry them into a position to challenge for the CL. Welbeck, industrious as he is, can't strike a ball with any decent power/accuracy (not just based on the penalty, but it certainly typified it). I know he's more of a support-striker/team player, but if you have the ambitious of a top half PL team (let alone where Man Utd think they should be), you can't really afford the luxury of a striker who can't hit a ball (cf. Shola). Jones has a brain the size of a peanut. Janujaz, promising though he is, is still a kid - unfit to burden too much responsibility for his subpar colleagues. Rafael is as unreliable as ever.
