  1. Can't let Hart be beaten from 35 by Tiote - Gouff had to have interfered. Hart's too good to be beat by Tiote.
  2. All the best Jonas, always had a soft spot for him - Firefox forever.
  3. Don't have much bearing on us anymore, really, but yeah. Shite day.
  4. Can't wait to face Fulham. We'll thrash them by a good goal or two.
  5. Concede 6 against Hull, and 3 at home to Sunderland - Arsenal are going to break the record next week.
  6. Fulham are gone. Mackems lowest ebb is now 19th. Still need two more to worse than them.
  7. Surprised Wolves haven't tried to gazump them for old Jonas They must think he's the next Maradona
  8. I'd go Zabaleta, Debuchy, Coleman on talent/capability - but reverse it for performances this season. I used to rate Sagna, and he is reasonably solid defensively, but I think he's deteriorated massively recently and is often Arsenal's stand-out weak link at higher levels, IMO. He's got a bit of the Gutierrez about him in that if he is facing his own goal and shielding or retrieving the ball, if you come within 5 metres of him, it's an Arsenal freekick, because he 100% will be on the ground. He's great at winning them off refs.
  9. Loving the Darth Sidious style BBC coverage http://imgur.com/jK4z6Nx.jpg
  10. Unlike Ian to be on the fence about a manager.
  11. I remember the forum, generally, receiving the appointment quite favourably (my memory being lots of avatars of him popping up - including JH's of Fat Sam in shades outside SJP?). I didn't want him, personally - but I've been wrong about many other things (eg. I thought Jonas would be huge for us).
  12. Would've been good if we got him first (primarily for the Sewelly ragequit - well solely really, he can't create enough for himself)
  13. he wants that 2014 award, apparently
  14. The travelling Hammers fans must have known Allardyce would Pardew it tonight.
  15. You guys are really pushing the boundaries of the NWOAT values which give this thread life in the Football section
  16. Point b) doesn't come from Pardew though, it's the aims of the club (except the boring football). The separation of the two is artificial, Ian. If we're dealing in hypotheticals where Pardew can be sacked, then getting rid of him may very well mean getting rid of the ideologies which underpin (and prolong) his tenure.
  17. Big balls from the Hammer there
