  1. Hope it went down like this:
  2. Please just let one of those matches be a Man Utd fixture in the seasons we came second

  4. We're trying to do a Barca, I reckon. Trying to awaken a different dormant international superpower by letting them play together at club level and increasing their understanding with one another etc. All being built around Xavi/Iniesta HBA/Cabaye
  5. Yes, but his master was SBR. Poor Jean.
  6. Aye, from that perspective I understand. In an ideal world, that wouldn't be a red, and neither would the times we've had relatively innocuous challenges deemed reds - they'd be yellow cards.
  7. I thought the Ramires challenge was a yellow. It was two footed, but his feet weren't stamping down towards Jonas' legs if that makes any sense, they were sweeping sideways. It was a poor challenge, but it was never going to do any damage. I understand if under the letter of the law "two feet off the ground" = red, but I don't agree that the laws should be that way (if indeed they are worded as such, or similarly!).
  8. Fair enough ...actually, fuck that: *something ostracising*
  9. GW26 Tottenham v Newcastle Chelsea v Wigan Norwich v Fulham Stoke City v Reading Sunderland v Arsenal Swansea v QPR Southampton v Man City Aston Villa v West Ham Man Utd v Everton Liverpool v West Brom Liverpool v Swansea
  10. Fairly broad brush you're using there, Mole.
  11. Yup. Cardinal sin. Gloat after the game, not before.
  12. With options on the bench too (Marv and Anita, in particular) Tiote is a massive bonus. Always does well against Bale.
  13. I was having a look at the Prem XI thread the other day and considering him, even though he's only been here a (relatively) short while.
  14. It was good of Cashley to put Sissoko over by letting him burn him for pace yesterday though.
  15. I didn't mean to imply he did, but I'm confused about the whole issue. Don't think he is any less committed to his football judging from what I see on the pitch. His performances probably haven't been quite as good as last season but that's by the by.
  16. Who, of our new recruits, are cup-tied/ineligible for these games? Presumably Gouffran is cup-tied?
  17. Merlin Particularly this bit: Reminds me of one of Cabaye's quotes after impressing at the Euros where he said it's really much easier to play well when you're surrounded by good players. I guess it must give you a sense of freedom, when there aren't players you avoid passing to! He's been so commanding since his return, a real leader. Should Colo still decide he wants to leave in the summer, for whatever reason (and I still don't understand the situation tbh), then I'd have no qualms about making Cabaye the captain. Again, trying not to get carried away, but Cabaye has just been outstanding tbh. Someone on here said he goes missing in big games, and all three of our last games have been huge, and he's imposed himself on every last one of them.
  18. Sweepstake: when will Motson retire?

Against good opposition to boot.
