I was wondering why the threads weren't as littered with 'you've ignored posts from this user' recently

Joelinton Bruno Almiron Isak Wilson ASM Joe and Almiron on the sides of their strong feet for the overlap from the inverted wingers/forwards on Isak and ASM

Fucking Lascelles. Give me an off-day Bramble anytime instead of this guy
-
The gulf between our best players and most of our squad players is absolutely staggering. Gonna take a while to sort this out.

Pope Targett Lascelles Botman Lewis Longstaff Willock Anderson Almiron Fraser

I think it takes a certain type of person at 70 minutes into 4-0 lead away in a match thread, watching a stream at home on their computer, to start picking apart players for poor performances.
-
'This is Longstaff, steadies himself.... ball takes a very important deflection'... Jesus Christ, I'd take this from some BeIN or NBC sports commentator, but an obviously British-born football commentator really ought to know better.
-
Almiron or prime Robben, dunno
-
Commentator has no idea Anderson's come on, has called him Longstaff every time he's had the ball so far.
-
Bruno off, Wilson off, 4-0 up... how the fuck is there still 25 minutes left
-
Geordie Maradona, do do dooo
-
Just imagine how good he'd have been with an actual quality setup..
-
Anderson's ball control is out of this fucking world. That's Maxi-level ball movement.
-
Willock's been effective on the left.. an option at least when Shelvey and Joelinton come back.
-
All I heard was Leno shouting 'WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?' at Wilson who was like 20 yards away from him
-
I bet there's a parallel universe where we're stuck with Grealish and Almiron's ouput for Man City is bigger than Mahrez
-
Got a soft spot for Longstaff, so pleased for him.

I'm going to put my tinhat on and say that I think Shelveys's defensive work in the past 12 months, especially since Howe has come in, is criminally underrated. Off the ball he's been very busy and putting a foot in. He's not Joelinton or Bruno at winning it back, but the harrying is all that's needed to not be a burden to the team when he's got those 2 working with him. Personally I'd like to see Joelinton sitting in front of the defence, his ball carrying and outlet passing is top rate. With Bruno and someone decent in front, this could work well. But without a good offensive midfielder next to Bruno, Shelvey at the 6 allows Bruno to play the 8 and this just plays to everybody's strengths and preferences. Not sure about Shelvey in front of Joelinton though, Shelvey needs time on the ball, he usually has to look at and find his pass whilst in possession, unlike Bruno who knows where he's putting it before he receives it.

Weird, they took down the video? Was embedded in my post earlier this page.

I regularly have to check the locks on my wife's restraints, she's always trying to get back over there.
