I win. Wow Ronaldo, you must be some kind of fucking swami... predicting Wolves to lose. How did you get that one?
  2. The promises were kept though, it just wasn't to his timescale and he bolted before he should have. In the end, first offer he left. Hope he does regret it, in Liverpool he's moved to us a few years ago signing Duff & Owen. We all know how that ended, thought LFC having a bigger foundation its harder to fall as far as we did but one things for absolute certain, he's moved to a club which will never achieve anything in his playing career to the extent of glories past. 3-4 players, a better manager and same couldn't be said here. What? It's certain that Liverpool will never achieve anything during his playing career. But it's possible for NUFC? Absolutely certain? You're having a laugh. When we were relegated who would've thought we'd be where we are now? Where were Man City three/four years ago. Nothing's certain. Edit: I hold nothing against Enrique. Based on all the evidence present Ashley and company appeared to be a bunch of incompetent boobs. They got a lot wrong for a long time. And now they're getting a lot right. No reason that Liverpool couldn't do the same and turn it around very, very quickly.

He probably takes dictation. Transforms bizarre ramblings into semi-coherent sentences.
  4. I think his statement accurately reflects his experience with the club. That's not just Barton, Nolan, and Carroll, but also the players the club sold before we went down: Given, Milner, and N'Zogbia. Not to mention the "talent" that jumped ship after the club was relegated. Carroll is probably the key one though. We sold him without bringing in a replacement; that did not inspire confidence.

I had to go to the BBC site to check if was it a parody. Incredible. It is speaks volumes that neither Merson or "Lawro" saw fit to mention that NUFC will be missing Coloccini for this game. It's only the single most salient concern for Pardew and the club at the moment. It's not that they don't know what the fuck they are doing; neither can be bothered to make an effort.
  6. Love it. They've got a thread at RAWK called "Our Fundamental Problem"; it's ten pages long and no one is allowed to admit the obvious: they've got to start with Kenny Daglish.
  7. Tiote hasn't exactly been the dominating presence he was last season. He doesn't inspire the same confidence he once did. We could play well with or without him. And his absence doesn't mean we're going to get run over.
  8. Ruiz? That was a half-day transfer deadline spasm. Hardly deserves a mention.
  9. To hell with all this 8 points clear crap. We're level with Chelsea on points. Push for fifth!

    Papiss Cissé

What four languages does Cisse speak? French. Wolof, maybe? Did he learn German? Anyone know? Is the name "Demba" from any particular language?
  11. Laughed at this in the Guardian comments
  12. Speaking as a Ben Arfa fanboy who is gutted every game he doesn't start, I felt much more confident about us holding on to all three points after Santon came on. Thought Pardew got the substitutions right. Just don't understand what happened after we went up 1-0. Went flat, looked awful from 15 minutes on.
  13. Not the caliber player needed to push for Europe. When Taylor went down, the club was in a position where Champions League football was not out of question. (Always a long shot, but how often are you going to get an opportunity like that?) Poor decision to go into the second half of the season without signing a decent CB. An opportunity missed. Penny-wise, pound-foolish. etc.
  14. Well, at least Ryan Taylor smiled at the end.
  15. It'll be a good day when WBA overtake them in the table.
  16. I voted for Shola. Just can't hate the guy.
  17. Talking about your own dealings is one thing. But why is he talking about our dealings? Oh right, to deflect from the fact that he and his merry band of retards shouldn't be setting foot anywhere near a football club. How they've been tolerated at any club they've been is beyond me. Yeah, llambias is far above drunkenly blathering on about the sale of former strikers. Never a word about the Carroll deal for example.
  18. Liverpool suspiciously under represented at the ACON. Can't think why!
