1-1 Dzeko. EDIT: Silva's rump.

Don't buy into that. Of the top 5 players in the world currently only Ronaldo has strength of any note. I can't remember seeing the likes of Messi and Xavi pushed off the ball that often, whereas Silva seems to lose possession relatively easily. Obviously they're all different players but people rarely get close enough to Messi and Xavi to be able to do so. Messi being too quick and fleet of foot and Xavi rarely taking more than 2 or 3 touches whereas Silva tends to be a merger of the two.

That doesn't count. Best erase those memories then.

my man city supporting father hates him because he doesn't score enough goals and is too lightweight Is your father ? Sliva is lovely player, absolutely brilliant technique. The sort of player England would never produce because of the reasons mentioned above.

possible, but that's strawman argument, you create it as a possible reason based on nothing concrete then argue against it. For the record I think Hughton was pretty decent in the transfer market, he just wasn't able to get those players performing against lesser opponents, an area that Pardew has greatly improved on (Stevenage aside) Were they not playing lesser opponents last season?

Have been in the last 25 mins I've been watching but their line up screams damage limitation. Kolarov on the wing man. Silva & Tevez isolated as f*** and even then it'll only be Yaya breaking from the middle. I thought City looked pretty good first half, certainly the first 25 mins. Some nice movement, Tevez and particularly Silva finding space, Yaya supporting and Kolarov and Richards pushing well forward. If anything, Man U were more negative with only Rooney up front and isolated. They didn't have any options going forward until Nani really started getting the better of Zabaleta, then City had to double up on him which gave Man U more space on the left. Didn't see the start like so maybe the case. Wonder when Mancini will twist and stick Dzeko on?

Be very suprised if Tim Krul at the club next season.

Hope Man United go on to cream them. Sick of City's unbelievably negative tactics when they play anyone remotely good.

Ambulance scores 1-0 Na Nee Na Nee Na Nee Na Nee Na Nee Na Nee Na Nee Na Nee

No Berbatov for Man United. Shocked at that. Both teams going for the defensive 4-3-3 it would appear.

For many people a day on the piss with mates is the important not going to the match, going to the match just happens to be part of the day.

David Ginola. The same Gerard Houllier symdrome many on here suffered with Nile Ranger v Spurs embarassingly.

I like Hodgson so I hope he keeps them up. Obviously not our expense. [goeswithoutsaying]

If we ever buy Kevin Gameiro I'm all over this.

Each to their own but I don't.

Yes, I agree, and maybe taking into account this point I am being harsh. However, current day Alan Smith is barely a footballer. Good job Allardyce/Ashley didn't know this before we bought him, oh wait...
-
Completely different players IMO but I do agree. His performance against us in the 2-6 is possibly the best individual performance I've ever seen. Scholes is up there with Zidane and Xavi. Lampard is atleast 2 echelons below that. Going to far IMO, not to say he is not a top, top player who was criminally treated by England and underrated by the English media and large swathes of supporters. Xavi and Zidane are/were just a different level for differing reasons.

Learnt them, along with this one which was getting an airing out of SJP on Saturday: (tune of the Music Man) His name is Tiote, he comes from Africa, And he can play, where can he play? He plays in midfield, Tio, Tio, Tio-te, Tiote, Tiote, Tio, Tio, Tio-te, Tio, Tio-te! Africa doesn't rhyme man. Insert "His name is Tiote, we bought him from Twente" in its place. And we should all know Cheick, Cheick, Cheick, Cheick, Cheick, Cheick Cheick Tiote Cheick Tiote Ohhhhhhhhh (repeat) - tune of Shake Your Booty I didn't make it. Sounds quite good though to be fair. Your alteration would obviously work too, will see if I can get it changed for you tomorrow. As for yours, I like it but no fucker ever sings it! Aye I know, tried to get it going at Everton back in the day to no avail.
