  1. From a personal POV i'd want more warning that we're likely to qualify for Europe so I can save some cash and my days off work accordingly.
  2. what are ya then? http://only-cookware.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/yorkshire-pudding-7.JPG
  3. Jesus he must be old. Brazillian league seems determined to recreate the WC2002 squad.
  4. From now on I'd go with: Hart Richards Ferdinand Cahill Cole Lennon Wilshere Gerrard Johnson Rooney Carroll Foster & Loach G.Johnson, Jagielka, Baines, Shawcross, Gibbs, Smalling, Young, Milner, Rodwell, Albrighton, Huddlestone Bent, Defoe, Walcott, Wellbeck Ferdinand and Cole are the only 30+ players worth sticking with IMO. We've got a fairly easy group so use it to blood the new younger players, same with friendlies.
  5. Steve Kean has done a decent job tbf to him.

Just reading Any O'Brien's twitter feed. Comes across as a really nice guy.
  7. The forum is surely advocating sexism through maintaining the thread title.
  8. Wages would prevent him coming here one would suspect. Reckon he should go abroad myself, be very suited to slower Spanish/Italian game.
  9. Not mega dosh but they've still made a few signings and I'd wager their wage bill is among the highest in the league given the depth of their squad.
  10. I reckon he likes his rare too. He's gone from being a well-done man to a rare man, the English game did this to him, obviously. There's no way he'd ever have steak well done if he is a true Argentine. Tantamount to pissing on the flag that would be. I reckon he has proper full on cow parties with Jonas. They bring a live one in the living room, have cocktails with it then slaughter it for dinner. Paella if José is round though, because he rules the roost.
  11. They will get rinsed on weekly basis. Colin Wanker will probably turn them into a defensive unit a la every other team he has managed. Be interesting to see what their owners do should they go up. Could easily make them into a decent Prem outfit given their respective wealth.

I agree but that will only come with regular first team football though.
  14. Thats what I was advocating in the summer.
  15. I doubt we'd buy enough. We'd need at least 4/5 quality incomings and no outgoings to compete on all fronts. Why not though? Who's said we aren't going to buy those 4/5 quality players? mike ashley? We got Ben Arfa, Tiote and Gosling this summer. Do you really find it unthinkable that we'd be able to get one more than last year if we got into Europe? Which was not enough in most peoples eyes.
  16. Aye thats what I was thinking. Dutch clubs are pretty strapped for cash at the moment so I could only really imagine Ajax or maybe PSV (not sure who their current keeper is) having the clout to afford him.
  17. Suprised Keys had time to comment in between shaving his hands and presenting normally.
  18. Wouldn't shock me to see Krul go abroad if he does leave.
  19. When did Serie A games start kicking off at ridiculous o'clock in the morning? Also, whats going on with Udinese and Granada, according to wiki they have 14 players out on loan to Granada?

rioferdy5 Why can't we celebrate with our fans?? Safety?? Or are we not allowed to show passion?? Let the fans be part of the celebrations perleeease! Should the FA not be cracking down on this a la Babel?
  21. Yeah, whatever. Coloccini has scored double the goals of him in the premiership now, says it all really. Says nothing really. Nice new catchphrase though.
  22. they're putting people articles on their website for some reason same media group. Why the fuck anyone would buy the People though is beyond me.
  23. Have a look: http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2010-2011/table (change the season at the top). 35pts was enough when we went down and we're already on 30. Nottingham Forest finished last in 92/93 with 40 points played 42 games then.
