They've qualified for the play-offs.

u21s are reliant on other scores to get through aren't they?

Wouldn't say they had really. I'd say Ramos, Xavi, Iniesta and Villa are examples of much more physically adept players than Spain would have seen in past years, and this was crucial to their success. Wouldn't say Xavi or Iniesta are anything about physicality myself. Two players that thrive totally on being superior technical and would still be quality regardless of their physique.

A simple example of this that can be seen at how much foreign defenders are in one on one tackling the tricky player situations that English players are and how a lot of foreign defenders are short arses - Ayala, Cannavaro etc.

I'd rather be Blue than Red, I hate Red. Can Red's now be Green or White or something? I'd be up for a change of colour n all. Red ain't right.

He should have enough money to buy the house outright tbh, no excuse from a Footballer that played 10 seasons in the premiership to not be able to afford to pay the rest of the house off. he got it right!

This be on Virgin as well as Sky I presume?

Kevin Blackwell was live on goals on sunday, he was trying to say how fans don't know what is going on and they just slate the manager without understanding reasons for a team selection. In trying to do this he used an example of a player coming to him an hour before a game saying he couldn't play as he had a situation at home which involved one of his kids doing something in the bath - we're not sure what this was - and being asked by the player/player's wife "where did you see that/learn to do that/have that done to you?" and being told that that Grandad said it's "our little sceret". I'm not sure if anything else has happened about it but that is the gist of the story. If he has just made that up as an example Kevin Blackwell has got some major issues.

Aye, I can play in goal again if we don't find anymore. Unless we're calling up some ex-pros I don't think anyone will be worrying about that.

What a list Source Only Pedersen down as a 'star' - massively doesn't fit in with the rest of that list n all.

Aye the tattoo definitely demeans her classiness, nothing to do with the fact she is prostitute. Pretty fit though. Was in the article n all that Rooney, after piecing her, gave someone £250 to go and get him some tabs - shows how little grip on reality some of these rich young lads have. Jealous much? Yes.

This to be fair. We haven't looked like a good side since Sanchez was in charge, a draw at very best I think! It's the attitude we seem to have that gets me, we get beat off a team 3-0 and we get "ah they put in a good performance, they'll have learnt something from this" What to get battered?. He always spouts the same s*** yet we go into every game the same and never seem to actually learn anything new. Is it not just Northern Ireland finding their level again after spectacularly overperforming for a couple of years? I do agree that it has some part in why we are shit I mean healy is nowhere near good enough any more, I can't even remember the last time he scored, however from the moment Worthington has taken over our results have slumped badly and we really don't look like the same team. I don't expect them to beat teams that reached the WC, the players aren't good enough quite frankly but I don't think our manager is either to be honest, especially for the money they are paying him (in terms of what we are used to paying managers). Who else could they get in to replace him? Bring back Sanchez? Go foreign?

Aye pretty much every team abroad has had success that way. It works as long coach and DOF are closely working together. When we had Keegan and Wise here, it was just a complete joke. Wise as DOF?!! Aye, Mourinho worked under a DOF at Chelsea, didn't he? It was preety much like Keegan and Wise from memory. Jose had been there for a year, won the Premiership. Arnesen comes in, as (supposedly) a glorified head scout, starts to exert influence after a while and Mourinho eventually tell's them where to shove it. Example A : The collosal fuck up that was Shevchenko... all that was mostly Cousin Roman. Same thing happened at Tottenham with Jol. Levy finally learnt his lesson, and now they are in the Champions League. Arnesen is still there though and Chelsea are still winning trophies.

Get yourself along to Dean Court. AFCB could always do with the extra support with their constant money woes. Play some decent stuff under Eddie Howe too by all reports. I've followed their recent relative success in the papers and on the news and have considered getting myself along, but I've never been one of those people who have a second club or anything like that. Might still pop along one day just for the crack and to stand on a terrace again, been donkey's years since I did that. I wouldn't get your hopes up as its all seater. Don't blame you to be honest I only went a couple of times when I was down there for uni, not the most accessible ground either.

Is he match fit though? Be typical NUFC for him to get crocked in his first game.

was that villa at home?- still the loudest ive ever heard sjp. Paul Bracewell scored a screamer that match i seem to remember. yeah im sure that was the equaliser, sticks with me cos the leazes end had just been built, the gallowgate wasstill terrace. I was in the Milburn paddocks and the noise coming from the leazes was the loudest ive ever heard at a stadium. Might have to crack out The Entertainers over the weekend.
