Of the front six, only Guthrie and Charlie should be anywhere near the first team with Geremi potentially making the bench. The rest can rot. It beggars belief that anyone thinks we're ok for forward cover. Yeah I was going to say something along those lines but didn't really have to say anymore. If Owen, Martins or Viduka are injured at any point in the season then we are not going to score any goals simple as. And to top it all off that is one of the most injury prone attacks about. It is worrying.

Cuellar has looked fantastic everytime I have seen him which is quite a few times now and even against good opposition in the Uefa cup. He also had a very good reputation in La Liga. I don't think we will sign him though. Rangers have no need to sell and looks like they will be in the champions league. The standard in Scotland is improving btw, there are some good players, not very many at all but some. Cueallar is one imo. Hutton was another and he is doing well at Spurs. McGeady, Boruc and Steven Fletcher are the others I can think of.

I think your right, once these players move in then the clubs will be more willing to sell. It seems a lot of the players we had targeted(speculation) had their values increased just because they played in the euros. This might change as the transfer window draws to a close too as the clubs might be wanting the cash more than they are letting on.

If Reyes came here I reckon he would be class as one of the front 3, roaming with Martins and Owen or Viduka if he's playing. I don't see Reyes as an out and out 4-4-2 winger.

I reckon Keegan will try and move him into the middle and this is the right thing to do. The lack of pace shouldn't matter quite as much in the middle however I'm not quite sure he is good enough to make that position his own. He does have potential though and if he really worked at his game could turn into a Scholes type player.
